Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Rockwall

When we first went to try I was very excited since it'd been awhile since I had Carl's Jr and the experience did not disappoint!

The establishment was pretty clean (and you could even get a peek into how organized the Love's gas station attached to it was). There were some spills on the floor near the fountain drink area, but seeing that it was still wet we assumed it was recent and no one had yet come to clean it up yet. Some tables weren't wiped off so there were crumbs and other food residue left with people being in and out, but we were able to find a clean place to sit. There's enough seating to eat comfortably and a drive thru is present at the location and kept separate so as not to disrupt the diners inside.

The service was friendly and fast and our orders came out correctly while still hot (we chose to eat inside). As for the food, the taste was great and familiar to what I remember from when I was younger and the serving portions were enough to fill us both. There's a lot of options to pick from for everyone so that you can have a little of everything depending on your taste for the day, but the menu is still simple so as not to be overwhelming.

I'd for sure love to go back...

I liked the service & atmosphere here. There were semi trucks all over the area. It is a truck stop, after all. The burger left much to be desired. I tried the Double Sourdough Burger. I docked 1 star because it just didn't have any flavor. I thought it would be flavorful with lots of stuff on it. It wasn't. It was bland burger patties with bread, ketchup & mustard & little else. There may have been a stray pickle or super skinny tomatoes with a string of lettuce. There was bacon, but it didn't stand out except that it was stringy. I wouldn't recommend it. If you do get it, though, ask for whatever you like on there & don't spring for the extra meat. It didn't improve it. The place was clean with tables available. I was there at 7 pm. They were also well staffed. The employees were friendly & on top of things. The soft drink I had was okay but seemed a little off. I hardly ever drink soda, so I was looking forward to it. It didn't hit the spot. Seems like I hit them on an off day. I'll try again if I'm going by. I was lost at the time, but you know gps saved the day. Thanks for reading. Today, I had the pleasure of visiting the Carl's Jr. at this location and I stumbled upon a gem: Sheila, the lovely lady who served me. Her kindness, sweetness, and warmth made me feel right at home.

Not only did Sheila assist me with my order efficiently, but she also recommended some of her favorite dishes. And when I told her I didn't have room for dessert, she convinced me to try their famous chocolate cake. And what a great decision that was! It was absolutely delicious.

What impressed me the most was the way Sheila treated me. She made me feel like I was part of her family. Her smile and laughter were contagious, and they made me feel much younger.

In short, my experience at the Carl's Jr was unforgettable thanks to Sheila's exceptional service. Her kindness, warmth, and dedication to customer service are an example to follow for any business.
