The Rock House Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Rocky Ford

It's new years day n I'm here visiting my mother from Colorado Springs n knowing many restaurants r closed due to New Year holiday, I decided to try this location out What a joke; Not a Family environment!! 4 men at the bar n the cussing was not only vulgar but very loud n I mean LOUD! We, myself n mother were going to eat in but the lack of consideration was unbelievable I even gave a whistle; nothing! My waitress was not much of a waitress/as our to go cup of sodas had 3/4 full of ice...ice is expensive, haha! She made no mention of why we r leaving... Never again, I mean NEVER! STATICALLY 95% of people say nothing; I am both ways, good n 😞 Owners, it's not a family restaurant... I will not recommend this to my family...

The Sopapilla Burger was the best thing I’ve had there. Green chili ON POINT. Onions Rings ON POINT. Props to the chef.

However every time I have visited the waitstaff is slow to service even when slow. The girls will take your order, bring your order and won’t come by again, not even to bring the check or with eye contact and a wave. Drinks go empty. Plates will be empty. The waitresses will stay at the bar and act annoyed if you require there services.

For some reason my bill was almost $40 for two sopapilla burgers and one mtn dew. The math isn’t mathing. But I paid and left.

I’ve never not tipped before. :/ sucks to feel like a burden when going out for...

Was willing to try again..will not go back. Ordered to go again - with an appetizer, less than 1/2 off what we've had in the past. (have ordered in as a group before) Definitely not worth the $8.99 we paid for it. Asked aboit adding green chile to the fries, 6 bucks. Fries not even all cooked. Great bar atmosphere, but not a good burger joint.

Waited for over an hour for a carry out. Was not offered a drink while I waited, although the waitress did ask if I had the carryout... I had to ask if the order was even close to being ready. Sat there for 40 minutes and no...
