So glad to have an Indian restaurant open up in Rocky Mount! Decided to give it a try today and never having tried Indian cuisine I decided to try a few different items! Firstly I ordered 3 types of bread. I ordered the Garlic naan, the bullet naan and tandoori roti, all three were so good and great to dip! For main dishes I ordered Shrimp Tandoori with āIndian hotā as the spice level and I ordered Malai Kofta Curry also āIndian hotā spice level. The shrimp were so delicious, actually big shrimp cooked perfectly! The sauce was great and spicy which is very nice! The Malai Kofta was also great! Again it was spicy and tasted so good, the koftas were great! I also ordered chicken samosa and they were so great and crispy, the chicken was super flavorful! Lastly for dessert I ordered Gulab Jamun, I had never heard of this before but the description made it sound so good! Let me tell you it was great, I could eat a dozen of them, they were just the right amount of sweetness! This experience opened the door for me on Indian food and man am I glad that this place has opened! I canāt wait to...

I ordered food. The waiter was argumentative about my order (I asked for food without rice. he insisted on swapping out the rice for white rice. I told him I didn't want rice and was willing to pay an uncharge for veggies - he kept arguing.) The order was eventually placed. 30 mins pass. My party finishes eating. My food had not come. We collectively chose to leave and went to pay. Waiter, whom was now the cashier, argued about how restaurants work - how food takes time to cook, how it'll be ready soon, etc. It was a tad annoying.
I won't be back but I hope the restaurant find success. If you go, go to the buffet and...
