Lighthouse Grill — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

I enjoy this establishment. It remind me back when I lived in New York has the mom and pop feel and the chicken wings were awesome on fire. I went to go visit my mother who is sick with stage 3 cancer. She wasn't really eating that much to the point where the doctor said even if she has to eat something. Unhealthy whether it's fried dyed or laid to the side Make sure she gets something so we had a taste for chicken and this is where we went and they also have shrimp as well. The menu is nice. It's close by the hood but not in the hood so you'll be safe when you go there and you will enjoy the food. You can either call your order in or you can pick your order up. And it's cooked to order the best way to have fresh chicken to eat. So if you ever in this part of town stop by, it's a family-owned business. I love...

This was my 1st experience at the Lighthouse Grill mainly because of what I heard from others. My experience wasn't all that great. 12 piece party wings were not honey glazed as I asked, 1 piece fish w/4 jumbo shrimp were fried too hard (I guess I should have specified), the small gizzards were the best because I did specify that I didn't want them fried hard and the worst thing of all is I asked for a slice of cheesecake that I didn't even receive, that pissed me off more than the meal. I tried calling back for over 30 minutes to complain about my order (Trans #115, Batch 5) with no response. I could somewhat understand that because they were very crowded when I picked up my order. I may give them a 2nd try to see if my experience is better. I don't know...

I seen this place flash on Facebook and word of mouth. I was skating in the neighborhood and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the fried trout dinner with 2 sides (mac and greens) Yalllllll those greens were bussing! IT had flavors with levels of flavor in it. The mac wasn't all that to me. The trout was crispy and seasoned to accommodate it. You also get a drink with your meal (you can choose from; Circoc, Henny, Jose... JUST KIDDING) I chose a mixture of the blue and regular lemonade. I'm definitely going back to try the Philly and wings.
