My wife and I came here for our baby’s 1st month celebration to enjoy a donut and blow out a candle. My wife had been here before and had a great experience, but unfortunately, this time was very disappointing for me, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
After waiting in line, I asked one of the staff at the register for a cream soda. Even though I pointed it out on the menu, he didn’t seem to know what I was talking about. I ended up with a different drink, which was a strawberry flavor that tasted bad and had no flavor at all. Even my wife, who had been recommending this place, didn’t like it.
She went back to ask if they could fix the drink and give me the cream soda I originally wanted. What they gave me was terrible — it tasted like plain water with a few pumps of vanilla, no carbonation, nothing like a cream soda at all. I left with a really bad impression of the place.
I understand they might be new, but the staff should at least know the menu and how to make the drinks properly. The donuts were okay, but after that experience, I didn’t even feel like eating them. This place might have worked for my wife or for others in the past, but for me, it’s somewhere I’ll find hard to...
Read moreI came to try their gluten-friendly donuts and they didn’t disappoint taste wise but I did have a bad abdominal pain /low energy/ puffy face hours later that struck me like they aren’t careful about cross contamination (and I was warned about this by the worker there and proceeded at my own risk because I figured it would be okay). So, if you have celiac like me, you probably want to avoid getting donuts here.
When you have been strictly GF for 13 years out of necessity, you learn not to expect a lot from donuts so I was not expecting much. They were really good for cake donuts. I’d like to see someone try to make some harder to make GF donuts/pastries like eclairs, croissants, etc. I had the strawberry shortcake and French toast GF donuts. The strawberry shortcake one was my favorite surprisingly to me. They are smaller than they look in the picture. They had kombucha and other drinks for...
Read moreNot wanting to be a Debbie downer at all, so giving this the benefit of the doubt. First impression review since we weren’t actually served. Website said they were opened till 4, walked in at 2 and was greeted by an employee that said they were almost sold out of doughnuts. We asked if they had breakfast sandwiches available and she said “yes but we are closing in 1 minute.” - hmm wait, you still have 2 hours left, and could still serve other items on the menu like drinks and sandwiches. Kinda disappointed we were given the impression they didn’t want to serve us, even when we were fine with what they had available! So we just turned around and walked out. I’ll probably wait a long time before I go back and give it a try. Apparently they arent begging for...
