McDonald's — Restaurant in Rootstown Township

The young lady at the drive thru window was very nice. However I was overall displeased with my experience. I have quite a good amount of views on businesses in the USA. So I like to review businesses fairly and base my reviews on the overall experience. I will say the one good thing about my experience was the service speed. They had me in and out fairly quickly. However, the food wasn't all that good. I also asked for tomato on my sandwiches which they in turn put one single tomato when I had asked for 3 or 4 tomatoes because most McDonald's use those really tiny tomatoes. An in Ohio at most McDonald's you have to pay to add on anything extra. Like they aren't making enough profit on there business that they want to prove gouge you to add one tiny little tomato to a $1 sandwhich. Come on folks you honestly are being ridiculous. I don't usually call to complain but my service was so bad and the food was pretty luke warm. I didn't call to complain only because I knew someone that worked there because in normal circumstances if the service was this bad I honestly would probably call at the very least to tell them what they did wrong. I usually don't ask for my food to be replaced mainly because I'm a big guy and I don't want them thinking I'm just trying to get a free meal but also because I'm a Christian and I just tend to accept those kinds of things. Anyways I wouldn't really recommend going to this location unless you're in a real hurry. I would say that it is better than the one in downtown Ravenna though that one is way worse than here I wouldn't even give that one a one star review if I could do 0 stars. I could possibly give this one a 2 star review but I stuck by my 1 star. The reason I could give it two was the friendly customer service by the two employees doing drive thru. The one in the back doing the cashing out and the nice lady at the front window handing out the orders. Those two were awesome! So at least you have nice people working there and...

Love the new McDonald's! We stopped for breakfast on the way to Cleveland Zoo. My Grandson's, 3 and 5, wanted bacon. The bacon I got was completely burnt and hard. I went up and asked for more and the guy said all of his bacon was like that. It was inedible, in my opinion. I said that my Grandson had choked on over cooked bacon before. A woman in the back said she had bacon that wasn't over cooked. So they replaced my bacon, well they gave me 3 pieces instead of 4. But they let me keep the other bacon and they let me keep the original egg I ordered plus gave me a new one. They were all friendly. One thing my husband and I noticed was the specials weren't on the self order machine. While we we're waiting, 2 men from a mosquito spraying company came in and a worker showed them to the self order machine, one guy did it. The other guy stood in line and ordered. After the first guy did his self order, the other guy told him that when you order on there you don't get the special prices. So I would suggest if you have a big order or want the specials, to go thru the drive thru or just order at...

I usually never have a problem with McDonald's which I frequent from one side of the country to the other but this particular one is terrible. Went inside after eight pm for a few items (a couple of big macs, cheeseburgers and fries) nothing major. Ordered one big Mac made special - no lettuce 🥬. Well not only did it take us 45 minutes to receive our food but it was cold and on the big Mac that was only supposed to just be minus lettuce had NOTHING but meat and bread and tasted like the meat was even burnt. I don't understand how a dozen or so employees can mess up some burgers and fries but I guess when you got a few on their phones while working I guess you could get distracted. While waiting for our food we saw people coming inside that had went through the drive thru and was missing food and one lady got sour tea from the tea urn inside. Definitely poorly ran but I guess at the end of the day it's hard to find good help anymore. I will definitely skip this exit next time I'm driving through the area and...
