Love Mexican food and want to try a neighborhood restaurant. Ordered steak tacos and was hoping to love it. The margarita was amazing but I took one bite of the tacos and had immediate stomach upset. The second bite made me nearly vomit so I decided not to eat anymore . When the waitress asked how is everything I told her that for some reason the food made my stomach upset. She didnāt ask if I was okay or anything just asked ādo you want to take it homeā I told her no but Iāll take the check. When I asked her to remove the item that I was not able to ingest she told me āI canāt take it off its what you orderedā. She continued to berate me explaining that I should understand what I ordered and expect certain things. I told her that Iāve never sent food back and in fact LOVE Mexican food so am not sure why my stomach was upset from the tacos. She became quite upset stating āso if you donāt like Mexican why would you come hereā. I tried to explain that I eat Mexican all the time in fact just had it yesterday and the day prior. She continued to berate me and tell me that theyāve been in business for 4 years with no complaints, noting that āyou donāt know how to order you need to read the menuā so Iām the problem. I told her that this type of service might be why the restaurant is empty. She then got loud saying āsee youāre rude, itās not empty, donāt ever come back hereā. Worst experience...

I feel compelled to share a concerning experience from the Trunk or Treat event at New Life Church involving Birrieria La Poblana. Unfortunately, the conduct of the staff left much to be desired.
During the event, the strobe lights from the Birrieria La Poblana food truck were flashing directly into the kitchen area of another food truck nearby. Despite several polite requests from the staff of that food truck to turn off the lightsādue to the fact that one of their employees has epilepsyāthe team at Birrieria La Poblana refused to comply. Tragically, this disregard for a serious health concern led to the employee suffering a seizure, which could have been easily prevented.
What was especially disheartening was the response from a worker of Birrieria La Poblana, who callously remarked that the employee should have āstayed homeā if she had issues with the lights. This kind of insensitivity is simply unacceptable.
I sincerely hope that in the future, Birrieria La Poblana will prioritize the safety and well-being of those around them. Itās vital for all food vendors to show respect and compassion in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm blessed to be almost next door to this lovely restaurant! My sister and I spoke to one of the owners and learned a lot about the new restaurant. As most of the reviews mentioned, the food is fresh! Very tasteful, nicely presented and plentiful. The restaurant is decorated with lively colors and banners and sombreros. Our first meal was carry out. I had the beef quesadilla and my sister had the burrito. Both were plentiful and packed with flavor . The beef was so tender and flavorful. Reminds me of mom's Sunday pot roast. Our dine- in meal consisted of the beef quesadilla, taco bowl and steak fajitas, guacamole and chips, street corn and non alcoholic drinks. The guacamole and chips and Mexican corn were fresh and made in house. The chips are not greasy and can easily become addictive. The hibiscus flavored drink was so refreshing and the right choice for the meal we had. The servers are attentive, helpful and will answer any questions about the food prep, the restaurant's origin, etc. I would highly recommend this lovely place for family gatherings, couples and singles. You'll be...
