I had a phenomenal experience here yesterday evening. It was my first time visiting and it was honestly worth the 35 minute drive. They have a full parking lot and the interior was beautifully renovated. Very classy, yet cozy and welcoming. Unlike most local coffee shops, there was an abundance of seating, large and small tables, as well as separate private seating areas where you could have meetings or study groups. We sat in the renovated vault room where there were comfortable accent chairs and a small couch for a more intimate experience. We were able to enjoy our coffee and conversation without remotely disturbing the students studying at one of the large tables in the main area. Not only was the atmosphere alone worth the drive, but more importantly, my coffee (caramel macchiato with whip cream on top) was even better than the amazing local coffee shop in my own town. As if that wasn't enough, the owner and staff working yesterday evening, were incredibly kind and personable. They showed us around and were the ones to recommend the vault seating area. The young man who took our order was very friendly and polite. He made sure to let us know any and all options that we could add to our drinks, which we did. Speaking of drinks, we only went for coffee this time, but their coffee bar extended into a long wine bar! I cannot wait to go back, cozy up with my book and a glass of wine! This is the perfect location for a book club meeting. I'm so glad we found this place...
Read moreMy family and I just moved to Roseboro in November 2023, and we love it here despite the lack of certain amenities one grows used to in a larger city and it’s because of unique places like Cork & Brew! To think I was excited when my husband pointed out a Starbucks being built in Clinton, 20 min away! But my awesome husband kept his eyes open and found this place within WALKING distance from our home inside the city limits of Roseboro and it’s SO much better than Starbucks.. 100%! It’s elegant and welcoming, the staff is sweet and kind as are the owners, there’s a drive thru and they don’t just serve specialty coffees and treats like Starbucks (just as good maybe better) but they serve beer and wine too! I feel so lucky to live in a town where people take pride in their small businesses like I take pride in my own 🥲 And they just opened up a month ago, how...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped opening day, and even with the massive crowd service was excellent ! We both had a white mocha, iced coffee, a donuts and the turtle cheesecake..phenomenal! I stopped back again on Monday and this time I tried a salted caramel mocha, iced coughing with oat milk and cold foam. This might just be my new favorite. I had a little issue with my breakfast sandwich, but this is to be expected as they are working out the kinks, but let me tell you when I brought it to the attention of the owner it was quickly dealt with. They went above and beyond.. but again they’re new and working out the kinks. The staff is amazing here. This is a must if you love coffee as much as I do !! I’ll support local over chains...
