2nd visit on Mother's Day - thank you Omni for making this the worst Mother's Day in history. We arrived at 10:55am with two Mom's, their husbands, and three children under 8 years old. We looked for the Mother's Day card station as advertised, but wasn't to be found. We then went to the animal area. The kids really enjoyed the goats. It all ends there. We waited in line to order food for 35 minutes. Finally ordered at 12 noon. At 12:20, a man hollered into the crowd that they are out of pizza, but orders taken will be honored. At 1:10, when we were all hungry, tired and cranky, we inquired about our pizza. We were told, there is no pizza, but we'll comp you a pretzel. Seriously?? No announcement was made about existing orders being canceled. No text was given, as we gave our cell phone for notifications. NO COMMUNICATION! I get Omni was not prepared with staff or stock, but how hard would it be to communicate?? We left hungry, hot, tired, and extremely angry. The only shout out is to Madison who did her best to help out a horrible situation. I would suggest new management. Common sense should also prevail since you advertised an event but didn't prepare for it. You had a wonderful opportunity to host a great Mother's Day event but failed miserably.

1 st visit: Based on past reviews, we must have caught Omni on a bad day. I brought a group of four adults and three children on Sunday afternoon. At first blush, this is more a brew pub than a winery. To further solidify my assumption, one person in our group purchased a bottle of Shiraz. After we all had a glass of Shiraz, I went up to order their Malbec or Cab as advertised on the web site and on the on-site menu. The staff said they did not have either Cab or Malbec, only five bottles of Shiraz left. I reluctantly purchased another bottle of Shiraz, only to find out it wasn't even an Omni wine. Too bad the Rosemount location couldn't have had Maple Grove Omni wine available. Anyway, we still enjoyed the only wine available. The kids were getting hungry so we ordered two pizzas. About 20 minutes later the pizzas were ready. Unfortunately the bottom of the pepperoni was torched and the combo crust was black. In addition, there was very little cheese unlike the photo on the web site. We didn't have time to complain and reorder new pizzas so we just ate the toppings and what crust we could find edible.

I know this "winery" is new so I hope they can smooth out the imperfections.

Ambiance is lacking with a gravel pit in the distance and bordered by a corn field. However, the patio area is nice. The patio table has holes for umbrellas, but no umbrellas were available. That would have been nice on this...

I have visited the original Omni Brewing and taproom up in Maple Grove quite a number of times, but never the relatively newly opened "Omni Winery and Taproom - South" until the recent snowy, cold, Valentine's Day evening.

So, I donned my red sweater, and off I went, looking for beer and love, haha. Omni Rosemount is conveniently located just South of CR 42, which runs through Rosemount. Though the winery and taproom currently sits "out by itself", by the housing being built around this area, soon it will be smack in the center of a high growth area of Rosemount. Lots of parking, and the taproom was warm and comforting on this evening.

Whenever I have visited the Omni Maple Grove original taproom, I always start with Omni "Fad", their "signature" double NEIPA. It's always a wonderful, unique NE IPA. I then moved on to the "Oktoberfest" Marzen, which they still have on tap! Score! It's a wonderful, deep amber colored, marzen, full of German heritage and taste. I ended the night with their "Muddy Runner", a coconut porter. It's a heavy porter/light stout, with a hint of coconut. Really good. They also had several sours, THC beers, and a bunch of NA beers and drinks offered too. Lots of wine options, too.

The taproom has a large outdoor patio, is kid-friendly, and offers on-site prepared pizza, which I ate on Valentine's night. The crust was perfect, and the price was good. It's clearly not frozen pizza, and was finished in a brick oven. The toppings were a bit "sparse", aka not many pieces of pepperoni on my pepperoni pizza, and the sauce was a bit "thin", aka out of a can, but the crust was perfect. With beers it was just fine.

There was live music on Valentine's night too; I don't know if this was a special deal or not. The singer was excellent and well-appreciated by the large crowd present. Lots of wine drinkers and beer drinkers, with many doing wine flights and pizza.

Ample tables for large groups, and dogs are allowed. I saw a few on this night. Great South facing windows and warm atmosphere to the taproom with a full row of wine kegs and large fixed tables.

Prices for the beers was "typical" for most taprooms in the region. Flights of beer is $13 for any 4 kinds of beer. I don't drink wine, sorry, so no idea how those stack up. The beer was fresh and good, though they clearly do not brew any at this location.

Overall, GREAT newish taproom and winery in Rosemount! Keep...

Wow!!!! Event Coordinator -Bailey and event bartender -Jordan knocked it out of the park!!!!

Let's back this review up to the beginning. Bailey and I exchanged multiple emails and phone calls to ensure everything made sense and we were on the same page for my event vision. I paid a fee for the room which locked in our date & time. Note, I worked with Bailey to bring in a selection of wine outside of their normal wine list. I believe we were the first event to have extra outside wine per their distributor. Note, this is not guaranteed.

The day of the event, both ladies went above and beyond to help multiple times. I loved that we were able to bring in our own food, dj and decorations. Best add was we had our own bar tender -Jordan which made it so easy to grab a drink and get back to the party. Jordan even came up to me multiple occasions during the party to ask if I needed anything. These added check-ins made me feel so amazing to know we were in amazing hands.

Loved the event space for its versatile set up options. The bathrooms were clean plus never saw a line while I was there. We had about 60 people at the event which did get a little snug.

I 100% recommend this...

Really wonderful addition to the Rosemount area! I visited Omni this weekend and loved the vibe of the place. The inside taproom is massive and can accommodate large groups & seating for 2. The winery part is not yet available so I instead enjoyed a glass of one of their host Riesling wines! It was absolutely delicious, if their taste in hosting wine is that good I’ll be amped to try their in-house creations. They also had a food truck on site with endless options of tacos, Cali burritos, chips and dip, etc. a perfect food option to have on site! The outdoor seating was great for the sunny weekend weather with lots of open seating in booths and at high tops. Can’t wait to see what they do with the outside area for summertime! Totally recommend coming here and I will be back in the near future!
