This is long overdue!
I’ve done the Omakase here three times, and every single experience has been incredible, each one completely unique. Chef Jay is truly exceptional, his talent and attention to detail really shine through in every course. The happy hour is always a great value, and the food never disappoints.
The Omakase is an absolute must-try experience. Don’t let the portions fool you, it’s a lot of food by the end. Pro tip! Take a few bites of each dish and pace yourself, because it’s a looong journey from start to finish. Every plate you can really feel the creativity and precision that goes into each bite.
As with any great restaurant, the experience is only as good as the service, and the team here nails it. Shoutout to the host Henna (miss you Sienna) for setting the tone the moment you walk in, and to the amazing servers Christine, Destiny, Jaylin (forgive me if I misspelled that!), and that one guy Kaleb.
And big shoutout to the OGs who keep the ship running Paul, Jade, and Jenny. You can tell the place runs smooth because of the foundation they’ve built.

Read moreI would like to start off by saying wow !! This establishment is by far the best sushi in town for Rosenberg / Richmond . The employees are so sweet and welcoming . All had smiles and welcomed me and my family the second we walked inside . The place was very clean and fancy beautiful decorations and the bar was very nice of you wanna sit alone for a few drinks and watch some tv . The food was excellent everything was delicious and fresh !!!! The presentations for the sushi and appetizers were top self . I had Dr Pepper and it was fresh and the water tasted wonderful not that cheap water hose water . Food was served in very timeless manner and nothing was forgotten . Once again the employees are the main reason I will definitely be going back many more times . You pay for what you get and I’m 10/10 satisfied and trust me customer service goes a very long way . I hope you guys have a great first year in the town and I hope y’all keep striving to be the best !!!! Sincerely , a very very satisfied...
Read moreWe decided to try before their official grand opening and wow! We sat at the bar and Lisa was awesome! Great drinks, great atmosphere and the food was on point. We enjoyed edamame, garlic cucumbers as appetizers with an Old Fashoined for him and a Cabernet for her. Then we split a bottle of chillled pineapple saki to get us warmed up for the main course. After a couple ginger dressing house salads we were ready to dive in to the rolls. First, we had the shaggy dog a standard among all restaurants and this one was divine. Perfect potions and delicious. Then we had the half and half (‘my wife is not a fan of raw but gobbled this up). We ordered another drink, the house cabernet (very nice) and a patron margarita which was perfectly balanced. The finale was the Big Bang roll, a slightly spicy Cajun roll with lump crawfish in a divine sauce. Super happy to have this place in our backyard and we will be regulars. Especially with their 4-7 weekdays and all day Sunday Happy Hour! Welcome to the...
