The three stars are entirely for the quality of the food and would have been much higher if service speed was better, not getting full stars is entirely based on service speed and execution. Food was great and a solid value and price point. Cannot say enough good about the food. I had been looking forward to this place for a while based on food reputation, and at least past use of our riend and neighbors amazing seasoning blends. The food was so good, we would like to go back, but we are seriously reluctant and will avoid if we are in any hurry whatsoever.

The staff there that night were kind and courteous, but one person was in training, and presumbably the more experienced staff member is in need of coaching.

No sense of urgency, pacing, or kitchen management skill. He alowed the trainee to prep the majority, which was great, but our order was large, and it was taking time and a work together to execute would have been much more appropriate. At an hour, yes an hour into waiting for our order to be prepped the experienced staff member was trimming a brisket. I am sure it needed to be done, but you have guests waiting an hour for food so maybe this work should be delayed in order to address guests.Given our order size, the size of the kitchen, a 45 minute wait would ahve been okay, not amazing, but okay. At an hour in without food, and seeing a brisket being trimmed I was ready to walk, but we had already paid and given a 22% tip to boot. Given the base skills I saw I was not sure a refund would have been executed so since we paid we waited.

Finally at 1 hour and 30 minutes, yes 1.5 hours we received a portion of our order, a portion. The burger, the sandwiches and a chicken basket were about to go dwon on the grill and fryer. I took the portion of our food out to the car and a moment of fresh air as my annoyance at this situation was not going to help.

When I returned the bartender came over and gave us free drink tokens as while not directly associated to the food vendor felt bad about our wait.

Finally at the 2 hour mark we had all of the food we ordered and could leave. The staff thanked us for our patience and once again were courteous, but did not offer anything at all to compensate for the delay. 2 hours is unacceptable, and if I would have been certain that the charge would have been reversed/refunded we would have left. Man I wanted to LOVE this place especially since I have seen so many wonderful social media post. However, my experience this evening was not the greatest and I probably won't be coming back.

I ordered the 3 meat combo with chicken, brisket and ribs and Mac & cheese. A side of brisket, waffle fries, Mac & cheese and a side of fried brussel sprouts.

We got the order to go and we placed the order at about 5 p.m. or order didn't take long to receive. We went to the car and instantly I needee to take a bite because I wanted to taste what everyone else has been posting. My 3 meat combo was a 2 meat. My chicken was forgotten. No probs, I called and told the guy that my chicken was not included. I walked back in and he handed me chicken. I said thank you, he smiled and I went back to the car to find that my chicken was not done. My briskets was shredded and not the sliced pieces that I had seen advertised. Just not happy at this point to try anything else .

Side note, I did enjoy the fried battered brussel sprouts! The Mac & cheese was decent as well
