It's high volume, mass produced pizza. It's owned by a franchise in another city, run by the lowest paid people they can find. Nothing is fresh, nothing is scratch made in the store and they just want to push it out the door as fast as they can. It is a business formula that works well. From the reviews they kind of suck at doing this and on occasion you will find a condom with your pizza. I suppose it can be thought of as a prize?
Now the reason I give them a one star review is because of their maintenance practices. Anywhere from 3-5 a.m. at perhaps six month intervals they have people come to clean the pizza oven. They remove parts, put them behind the building and then start up a gas powered pressure washer. Think of a lawn mower and you've got the picture for the loudness of it. This particular location surrounded by residential on all sides is not really an ideal location to start up the pressure washer at 4 or 5 a.m.
They woke me up this time at 5:20 a.m. I cherish what little sleep I get so being abruptly woken from sleep does not make me happy. I walked over to the store.
The pressure washer guy didn't speak english but his boss did and when I told him to shut off the machine until 8 a.m. because it was extremely loud he said no. When I asked for the contact info for the store manager he said he didn't have it and that it was on his computer. No effort was made to get the info. I told the guy to shut it off or I would call the police he said, 'Go ahead.' I was sort of bewildered at this point and decided to find out who the owners were who would hire such a piece of garbage contractor. I left and returned a little bit later to tell them to shut it off again to no avail.
It took some digging because there is no connection available online between this store and the franchisee but I finally found that the store franchisee is MAC Pizza Management, Inc. in College Station. When I called them at just about 6 a.m. no one answered because everyone at the corporate headquarters was asleep warm in their bed. I left a message. The pressure washer went on despite my protests.
The entire day passed and no one from MAC Pizza Management, Inc. called me back.
I know no one reads reviews on a slickly marketed corporate fast food places and it looks like MAC Pizza Management, Inc. and the local management stopped responding to reviews quite some time ago so they probably won't even read this. But this is your warning that if that piece of garbage contractor wakes me again I will call the police without hesitation and they will shut that down. I will cost you more money than it is worth so let the piece of garbage contractor know to start the pressure washing later in the morning. If it is before 7.a.m. I'll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been ordering from this Domino's for about 2 years now. I probably order once a month, some months more, and some not at all so it evens out. I have had a few issues over the years with my orders/delivery issues. However, every single issue has been addressed and fixed in my opinion. Things happen and from other reviews I've read it seems that people expect 100% perfection from everyone all the time. These are humans, and humans make mistakes. For me it's about how this issue is addressed and handled overall. One issue I did have is that I was ordering online and noticed the little text of we don't carry more then $20 in change for deliveries. I decided to call, and see if any arrangements could be made such as me coming to the store instead. The person who answered the phone was just incredibly rude and abrupt, and just overall did not seem to care or want to be talking to me. When I did ask if I could come in to order to break a $100 bill he just said I doubt we have the change. Didn't bother to ask a manager, or look, or even ask anyone else near him. He gave me that answer and then waited as if I was inconveniencing him, so I eventually hung up. I did send a message to the store owner and the issue was addressed the very next day, and overall I wasn't annoyed at not being able to break the $100 bill and not getting my way. It was mostly that I was trying to find out if that policy applied to in store purchases as well, and the person on the phone treated me as an inconvenience/annoyance to him. The store owner was incredibly apologetic and sincere about the situation. Overall I would strongly recommend this place, the employees are friendly, kind, and the food really is great. Chocolate Lava Cakes are hands down the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI used to come by to pick up or have it delivered from here at least every month for a while when I was in the food industry. The only problem then was that I could not get a hold of them, it didn't matter if they were open or not, they simply would not answer the phone. I had even met the seemingly sweet and polite and customer orrianted manager, or at least identified herself as the manager without being prompted by any customers, and well seemed true based off of how the other employees treated her and how they had a truck bring in the" fresh ingredients". A couple months or so went by since my last order, I place today's order through the app like usual, make sure everything is just right on my end. The best delivery driver ever came to my door, sweet polite and best of all cares about the customer. However my food came out wrong. They added lots of salt at the end of the phillychese steak sandwich, which didn't have mushrooms or onions, but lists of cheese and light on the meet. The Brooklyn style pizza was surprisingly thoroughly cooked since the app said it was only in the oven for a few minutes, but was missing the cheese. The philicheese steak was supposed to be cheese free and free of green bell pepper only. Regular on everything thing else, no extra salt. The pizza, I did a simple cheese substitution, instead of the normal cheese that they put on, provalone cheese. I don't mind paying extra if I have too, and it looks like I did on my end. I applied a coupon, and planed on (50%off of regular priced pizza, and since I build by own pizzas it applies) So all they(more like Adam according to their app) needs to do is follow directions. The guy that delivered quite quickly was not Adam (according to the name tag...
