THE MULLIKEN ROADHOUSE — Restaurant in Roxand Township

I just moved back to town and haven't been to the roadhouse since 2013. I was on my way home for work and decided to make a quick stop to check it out and have a drink. I walk in and the bartenders were quick to see me and ask what they could get me i order my usual a white gummy bear shot. As I go to find a seat I over hear one of the bartenders telling the other bartender how to make it and first thing I hear is cherry vodka I correct her and say raspberry vodka and she says oh I know but that is how we used to make them, they walk a bit away and I here the one telling the other bartender well that's red so she will know it's not right.... They could have easily told me that they do not have the ingredients for it and I would have asked for something different. A white gummy bear is raspberry vodka, peach tree, sour mix then after you shake that then a shot of sprite. They proceed to put a red shot Infront of me not only did they lie to me they gave it to me in a plastic portion cup for food sauces. I asked her about this and she said well it's late that's how we do it now, mind you it's 12am 2 hours before close. I work in the industry so I know you have dishwashers I'm getting out of work and do not to want to use a portion cups that I serve sauce in all day. Besides this it wasn't bad but I would have stayed a bit longer and had more shots. Oh and my crappy shot was $5 then I ordered a sex on the beach was also $5 which I thought was odd. I'm not complaining but horrible business model unless my drink was weak and had the same amount...

I shoot pool leagues out of here, it’s my “home team” bar. All of the food I have had here has been pretty good. They have a nice burger special and their wings are huge. I would have to say their wings are about double the size of the average, out of anywhere else. Food prices are pretty decent but I hear that drink prices have gone up. I guess you couldn’t expect anything less, as prices on everything else these days are up. The service is ok, but definitely not bad. We called the bar at 12am Saturday night, and they said that they served fry food until 2:00am, so we pull in on our way home. We go in and go to the bar ask some bearded guy in a blue shirt about getting food and he says "NO". We then racked a game and got a couple beers, and we notice that that same guy is putting chicken and fries in the fryer right in front of us. And he kept looking over at us, as if he was waiting for us to confront him about it. I've played music there for 30+ years and im never going back! The whole reason we stopped was to get food!...
