Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Roxboro

Tried to order surf and turf 599 basket. Total given was 639. That's where it started to go wrong. I gave the cashier 1139 to get a 5 back. She gave me 3. I explained I gave her 1139 to get a 5 back, she called the mgr over who asked me for more change.?? I told her the exact change I gave the girl, including a fifty cent piece, they didn't even know what it was. Then, I got my order. The sign at the drive thru states the surf and turf 599. I got some little shrimp and fries. Not what I ordered. Mgr said surf and turf not on 599. They were both rolling their eyes at me and wishing I would just go away. I asked for the sauces, I wS told they would cost extra. I said just forget it and drove away from the window. I got aggravated thinking about everything and wanted to know if I was right or wrong. Drove around the building, looked at sign again. I was right. Drove back by the drive thru window and told the girl to tell her mgr to go look at the sign. She told me I would have to come inside and tell her myself. I just left as I was on my way to work. Thru this long deal, im hoping you can see the attitude and ineptitude I was met with. Someone needs to pay more attention to this...

During my recent visit to Popeyes, I made the decision to forgo my usual request for fresh chicken, a practice I typically adhere to when dining at these establishments. Regrettably, the 8 piece Chicken Family Meal I received appeared to be stale and potentially refried on multiple occasions, leading to a subpar and unsatisfying experience. Furthermore, the red beans and rice were overcooked, although not entirely intolerable.

I must express my disappointment with the overall quality of the food and the level of service provided during my visit. I am compelled to caution others against patronizing this establishment, unless they can ensure cook-to-order items. The incident with the employee at the window wearing an apron covered in flour, along with the gloves used for chicken battering, raises valid concerns about hygiene and cross-contamination.

I hope that this feedback is taken into consideration, as I genuinely hope to see an improvement in the quality and adherence to food safety standards at this Popeyes location. Their inspection grade is 97.5, could probably use another surprise inspection at this location. Just saying, be...

Terrible customer service inside. Cashier was extremely RUDE! I asked her if she was having a bad day (as it was obvious) & she said 'sort of'. Her manager was standing beside her & did not respond. FYI, if you're working with the public, having a bad day (it happens) & its to the point that you are RUDE, you need to be working in the back or go home.

UPDATE. 12/22. Im in town for the holidays & decided to give Popeyes another shot. After I paid for my order I was asked to pull up. After waiting 10 minutes, a lady came to my window & asked me what I ordered because they didn't know what I ordered. I gave her my receipt...10 minutes later she comes back with my food. Our sprite was carbonated water so I went in to get a different drink. I get to my destination, check my order & it's wrong! I should have checked before I left, but after waiting over 20 minutes, with my receipt in your hand, I expected my order to be correct.. I will NEVER visit this...
