Subway — Restaurant in Roxboro

First off, they got rid of regular sweet onion sauce which, basically makes their Italian sub. It's now mixed with teriyaki and is thick and would be nasty on an Italian sub.

The staff were friendly

The fountain drink / ice machine.....it is disgusting, literally mold growing on it in several places near the dispensers......which i discovered when one of the buttons wouldn't work and I looked under the dispensers. Prior to that....The dr.pepper was 90% water the sprite tasted nasty as all get out, the coke button didn't work at all, we finally found the tea to be drinkable enough to get our food down but was by no means good. There was a puddle of water/drink coming from under the machine dripping off onto the counter and down it, into a bucket that was overflowing. The fountain drinks were $5 for 2 larges, so that was a complete waste of money. The sub was fine no complaints there,(other than lacking sweet onion sauce) and typically I do not complain about things, but the fountain Machine was in similar shape last time I came, finding black goo in my ice a good while ago, at the time they also had no AC and it was miserable in there. My boyfriend went in and ordered a BMT foot long that I had texted and spoke with him about what I wanted, he returned home with cold cut combo meat instead of BMT meat which he wasn’t aware of what meats are on a BMT bc it was for me. When I call the store to ask why this occurred the manager Megan answered me with the response of “you get what you order” that immediately made me angry bc that’s not how you speak to a customer also I used to work for Subway so I know exactly what I ordered. Then she blames it on a new worker and tells me “well come to the store and get another” which is 20 minutes from my home. She also rudely tells me that my boyfriend should have known what a BMT looks like. I exploded at that response, if her own worker doesn’t know what the sandwich looks like, why would someone whose ordering from someone else? I asked for her bosses name and she tells me “I am the boss” I have NEVER been treated so poorly as a customer or a consumer. I’ve already emailed corporate and will also find other ways to...

We asked for a cold cut combo and the girl put just bologna on the bread. When we asked where the other meat was, she stated that it only comes with bologna. The ither person that was putting what you want on the sandwich said yes they changed the menu. If you wanted the other meat it was now called a bmt.
