Prego Cafe — Restaurant in Roy

Who knew a library could have such delicious food? The prices are a bit high for a library cafe, but so are their offerings. Sure, you get your typical coffees and desserts, but the sandwiches and main dishes exceed expectation.

The owner is very nice and helpful with recommendations, so don't hesitate to ask questions. I only gave the service 4 starts because there if it's busy, there is a wait due to the fact that it's only staffed by the owner and his wife (I believe).

If you plan on drinking a soft drink, or water, I would recommend buying it elsewhere and bringing it with you. The soda choices are limited, the cans are small, and the price is high. I think I paid $2.50 for a mini can of coke.

I only gave the atmosphere 3 stars because this place deserves a better ambiance. I know the owner doesn't have much control over that, being that it's in a library, but Weber County should put some more time and effort into making it feel less like a break room and more like a place you'd want to spend several hours reading a book and enjoying delicious food.

I tried this place on a whim, and I quickly became hooked! I have tried a couple of the pinsas, which are like a flatbread pizza type of thing. I really enjoyed the Thai one! It was very good. It was filling, and I was able to eat it twice. I also have tried a couple of desserts, and the flourless chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and raspberries was my favorite so far! I also tried their merry berry coconut water drink. It wasn't my favorite, I think if I had it colder and drank it right away, it would've been better.
