Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Rural Retreat

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! On Sat June 13 we went camping at the lake for my son's 13th b-day. It was pouring that evening so we decided to go to Pizza Plus for dinner. Our experience was horrible. This was the first time and last time eating there. We ordered 16 wings and a large bacon cheese fries for the APPETIZER. And 2 specialty pizzas. Our pizzas come within 20 mins of ordering. I thought that was weird since we ordered appetizers but we decided to start eating anyways. After finishing both pizza's we still had not seen our appetizers. I asked my son to get the waitress Pam so that I could ask about our appetizers. He came back with the answer, fries are coming out now and 5-6 more minutes on the wings. After refilling our drinks which my husband did....twice we finally received the fries with the cheese still cold on top. The large curly fries had just enough for each of us to have about 4 fries a piece, (there was four of us dining). After finishing the fries and my husband refilling our drinks again we seen the waitress who was there to tell us that AFTER she had placed our order things got slammed in the back. Ok but that was AFTER our order had been placed. Should we of not got our order done first since we placed it first. That our wings should be out in a few. Yeah right 30 mins later we finally got our wings. We were not even hungry then, maybe that's why even though we ordered two different flavors they tasted...

Our basketball team was in town for a basketball tournament on March 16th and figured we would give it a try. We called them up to see if they had room for 24 people and they said come on, we will get the banquet room ready. We were 5 minutes away. We showed up and after a 10 - 15 minute wait, we were seated. The staff were very friendly and courteous. They made sure they kept the salad bar stocked and fresh, drinks refilled, and that the food was correct and accurate. The food was good. I had a thin crust supreme pizza which was very tasty. My wife had the BBQ chicken pizza. She said it was good but prefers the BBQ sauce drizzled vs a heavy dose on the pizza. She enjoyed the pizza overall. No one in our group had any complaints. If we are back in town again for another tournament, we will visit again. Nice town, great tournament, and good people. Thanks from the GATA 7th grade girls basketball...

I called at 5:45 to order 2 med pizzas and 2 salads for my guys for Sunday dinner. I was told salads weren’t available because they had already taken the salad bar down since they closed at 7. I could see taking it down at 6:30 or 6:45 but a whole hour and 15 minutes before closing is a little ridiculous. More importantly, I did not realize they didnt have supreme pizza so I ordered 2 medium supreme pizzas on cauliflower crust. Instead of the girl telling me they didnt have supreme she just added toppings. Accordingly 2 medium pizzas were almost $42. We wont be eating there again...
