I wish I could say I enjoyed my meal & experience at this local small town business. The food looks good, I've been told it is good, and the burgers look huge. I however ordered the 2 piece fish dinner, coleslaw & house salad. Unfortunately due to the area we were seated, in the middle of a busy walking area, in between their bar and wall tables, my meal was unenjoyable. The patrons kept bumping into me and a larger sized man felt it was appropriate to stand behind me to converse with another patron seated at the bar. He was so close every time I turned my head my ponytail would brush against his backside. Not to mention the other customers who decided that they could squeeze through the already small space. It was almost miserable and humiliating. So we decided to take what was left of our dinner home, upon my husband asking the waitress for our bill and boxes to go, she tried taking our food??? He told her we asked for to go boxes for our food. She brought back 2 boxes and we needed 3, we requested a third box that never came. They also had live music. The artist was really good, but definitely had the sound so loud you couldn't have a decent conversation with anyone at your same table. Needless to say the whole place was having very loud conversation over top the already loud music. I personally will probably not return and if I do, it will not be during the busy...

We arrived around 5ish and all the low top tables were taken, so our only option was to sit outside. The wait staff was extremely nice and explained why they couldn't accommodate our request to add a chair to an open table. We were greeted immediately upon going outside. We ordered pretzel bites and cheese for an appetizer and they were outstanding. The 10 year old did his best to eat them all himself. He ordered a cheeseburger and fries and put a fairly good dent in his meal before claiming the burger was too thick. The burgers were thick and just a little dry but still had excellent flavor. My partner had their Rushcreek special sandwich with fish and she said it was amazing. The fish was nice and crispy and the sandwich was huge. I had the patty melt and tater tots. The melt could have had a few more onions but overall a solid sandwich with lots of flavor and perfectly grilled bread. The tots were nice and crispy and much better than the fries I sampled off the 10 year old plate. By the time we were done, the patio was almost full of families enjoying the...

This place is the bees knees. I’ve waited for it to open for 2 years and I was not disappointed. This is a great spot to eat if you’re headed to the Hocking hills for a hike, or coming down to Howell Park for a ballgame or the playground. The food at The Rushcreek Pub and Grub is amazing. It does not lack for taste ever, and it’s always hot. I’ve never been disappointed with the fries. I would recommend anything on the menu, but my favorites are the corned beef Reuben, Rushcreek burger or Rushcreek Clucker, and the fried hotdog. They have specials most everyday, and they are spot on. Can’t say enough about the wait staff. Energetic, polite, and timely. I don’t mind the small selection of beers. The draft Yeungling is my pick. Always better than the bottle. And the building looks amazing. I love the heavy timber look in the ceiling. You’re missing out if you haven’t visited...

I got the rushcreek sandwich with fried chicken and switched out the bbq sauce for blue cheese ranch. SO GOOD. I only ate half, it was huge. I also had the fried pickle chips with ranch and they were amazing. Service was excellent and fast. We had to sit at the bar because it was so busy on a Tuesday night in June. I wish the servers would have let us know about the patio in the back, because I don’t prefer sitting at the bar. It was weird to me they didn’t offer- when I went to the restroom I saw a few people out there. The bartender who took our order was super nice and very accommodating! Atmosphere was ā€œgunsā€ / ā€œmericaā€ / ā€œwarā€ themed and there were some pictures of vets up, so I understand the sentiment, but not my thing overall, so just a heads up if that’s not your thing either! Still definitely worth a visit for my friend and I.

Absolutely a hidden gem! Our veteran combat riders had a ride and stopped here for lunch and a rest (we are old) and man was it a pleasant surprise! I am picky about my burgers (everyone always says it was a pound before it was cooked down to the size of a hockey puck but not here! She was right on point! Sweet tea was good (I'm from Louisiana so I pouted they served pepsi🤮 but that's just me😁) The inside is beautiful and the staff remembered our names (and we weren't even being rude) and got our 15 person party fed and back on the road! If you are out for a Sunday ride stop in and say hey and try the fried gizzards!
