The Corner Restaurant — Restaurant in Rushville

Ok my husband and I gave this place several chances!!!!! First off there is a older women there that has brown hair and is heavy set I wish I knew her name. Anyway she is very rude!! My husband and I was just un in there again today 10/27/2018 and this woman was unfortunately our waitress. She didn't even great us however with a snotty tone asked us if we wanted coffee. When she came back with the coffee she just stood there and didn't ask if we was ready to order or nothing. She didn't say a word. So after that awkward moment we told her our order. A different waitress brought us our food. Not 1 time did our waitress come back to refill our coffee or ask us if we needed anything or to see how we was enjoying the food. Absolutely did nothing. Now we have had breakfast there before as we had tried several times with this place and I ordered the same thing however today we got half the amount of the food that we normally would receive from them for example the hashbrowns would normally cover one side of the place this time it was like maybe 1/2 a cups worth. Also of course it seems like they are always out of something too. I love going to little mom and pop stores, however after several attempts and that older women being so rude to use the last couple of times we have been un there as of today we will never ever go back. It also seems that if they haven't known you for a long time then you get crappy service which really sucks. I highly would NOT...

At 12:20 pm 1/21/17, First i orded a country fried steak but she said they were out of gravey.. no problem. So I Ordered a 21 piece shrimp and a salad. They served me a salad in a bowl that was nothing but lettuce with a teaspoon of cheese and tomatoes on top. Than serve me a 6 piece butterfly shrimp. Waitress said they were out of my 21 piece shrimp I wanted so they made me 6 piece butterfly shrimp instead. Charged same price. I guess it was two difficult to come tell me they were out of what I wanted and would there be anything else I would prefer. They just decided on there own to serve me something else. Wow. And they didn't even apologize. Me and my fiance laughed a little, he order a omelette (which was good, he said) but he said that's like him ordering a omelette and they go back see they are out of eggs and just decide to bring him back grits instead. Communication was lacking, very rude and terrible...

The service was terrible! We were to seat ourselves so we did. We weren't even acknowledged for about 10 minutes. When the server did finally take our order she wasn't very friendly. Other tables had been served their beverages before us. At that point, we decided to leave their establishment and go somewhere else. We were very disappointed. We love to support small businesses during our travels and felt discriminated against due to the fact we were on our motorcycles. I cannot comment on how the food was because unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to try it. I hope they will do better in the future for whoever visits their...
