I give Frosty Inn a two star because the Shakes and frosty were ok, burgers ok but meat cold. We ordered at 12:35 pm according to the receipt. Ordered a regular burger, a regular cheese burger with large fries, a corn dog along with a strawberry shake, a chocolate Shake and a Oreo flurry. We sat down in a both looking forward to a small lunch at a historic burger ice cream joint. After 15 minutes I started to worry as local High school baseball players came in and started ordering. At 20 minutes my wife ask about the status of our order, she was told it’s coming right up and they gave us our shakes and flurry then. After 35 minute wait and several baseball players received their orders we decided to pay for the shakes and flurry and get a refund on our food. Got to the counter and had to wait on a lady that was placing her order, meanwhile I noticed a teenage girl look at me and then started talking with people in the food prep area. Before I could ask for my refund she brought our order out. I told her to put it in a bag, we had been waiting so long on it and needed to leave. I was then asked for my receipt which I gave her. Moments later she hands me the bag and I walk out. My wife checked the bag and found the corn dog burnt badly and like I said the burgers were ok but the meat was cold. We had our grandson with us and really looked forward to enjoying this place. I know mistakes happen but there was no apology given only a we are really backed up but that doesn’t explain several people that ordered behind us received their orders before we got ours. There were about ten customers inside before we ordered but the walk up window had a steady flow of...
Read moreCustomer since moving to Russellville in 1985. Unfortunately, no more. Quality has really went downhill lately. Employee turnover seems to be a real problem. Management seems unable to train employees how to properly mix and blend shakes. Half the time the shakes are not drinkable. Depending on who is making it even the same flavor will taste different over multiple visits. This is not just me. My kids will also order and it's always unanimous with all three of us. Either it's good or bad. Their best shake maker (the lady with the tattoos) seems to now be stuck on the grill. Why they don't just have her properly train everyone else I don't understand. Also order prioritization seems to be an unheard of concept for management. Somebody ordering a couple shakes should not be waiting 20 minutes. Ever. This has happened more than once. These issues would not be a big problem, however they have decided to blame the customer for their shortcomings by putting up a sign saying there is no remakes on shakes. This is unacceptable for a respectable business. As someone with 25 years in the food service industry it is appalling. I give 2 stars because they sometimes got them right and the food itself is...
Read moreEmbarrassed. We live here and I grew up on this place. We bring out of town family and friends here when they visit. Always been a Great Family Atmosphere and Great Food. But today my husband and I stopped in for a bite. Our order was taken by a friendly young man. When we received the order I asked for sour cream for my TACO salad. Was told I had to pay extra for the s/c. I refused the order since I asked when we originally ordered. Left my food and sat back down while my husband ate his food. I will not post pick of the salad, but it was a joke to begin with. 6 tables of families were here eating also. When the lady from the back came out with my salad and s/c and said, for future reference the s/c ain't free. There is a charge. In front of everyone. Humiliated and embarrassed but then I had to walk back and ask for a fork to eat my meal with. Still humiliated. My time at this local legendary establishment has come to a bitter end. It breaks my heart for the owners tho.. They are...
