Hacienda Petates Restaurant & Café — Restaurant in Sabana Grande

First they have items in the menu that they do not have in stock, it looks like the have the habit of counter any review or one start review by saying that the customer was rude, if you have any doubt read the comments!!

In my case the owner/manager or the waiter said I was rude according to the manager because I told her I didn’t want to eat a reheated churrasco.

I ordered a Picahna, well done and the waiter came back and told me that they didn’t have Picahna, and asked me if I wanted to order something else I said sure the skirt steak (Churrasco) and she said same temperature as the Picahna and I said yes well done, well after 40 minutes later she brought one plate at a time my was the last one I thought it was cooked right, well not really it was cooked rare I called the waiter and told her she took the plate back, after 10-15 later she came back with a reheated steak I didn’t try the fries but by them I think the fries were cold or saggy I asked her and she confirmed it was the same plate, I asked her to take back that I wasn’t going to eat it like that, and she took it back, after 20 minutes or so the owner or manager don’t know because he never identified himself he asked me what happened with the plate and as soon as I started talking he interrupted me, well I told him that where I come from you respect people and if they asked you a question you would answer the question after they finished speaking and would spect the same he asked how the steak was cooked I said it was red and I asked him if that was well done he said yes!! I said I don’t think so, I asked to cook my steak well done and the steak was rare, then he said the waiter claimed I was rude! The diners that were at the same table respectfully talked to him and told him I wasn’t rude at all when I asked her to take the plate back, that’s without saying nor complaining about the fact that we order a soup for an elderly person and had to ask the waiter 4 times to bring the soup, the manager or owner kept asking me if I wanted to order something else and I refused, I do appreciate it but the fact that I had that misunderstanding I didn’t want to wait another 20 to 40 minutes for a meal.

The cook when to the bathroom twice while we were waiting with the kitchen hat on it, the waiter never came back to ask or check to see if we wanted anything else until another waiter came in and pick up some plates, very discussed with the service and way the food was cooked and the entire deal was handle!

I would definitely not go back nor recommend anyone that restaurant or...

Went today at 11:40 am. Entered and wasn’t greeted by any personnel. Stood there for a while and a person moving groceries in told us to sit down to wait. The couple that was waiting before us left. After being directed to a corner of a big table that had the menus we waited. And waited, for more than 15 mins. And NO one came to talk to us. We didn’t get to taste anything. We weren’t attended by, and we decided to go somewhere else after a group that came way after us got their orders taken. This is disrespectful and they need to understand that even when a place is full they have to talk to the customers even if the order is going to be delayed. There is no excuse, just bad service....

We had an excellent experience. We loves the food n the staff was wonderful. Omari the waiter was great. The own Grace was so polite n Profesional. Drinks were made on point and appetizers were just the right side to share for 3 ppl at 15 bucks. While the 25 could feed 5 to 6 easily to tease u while u wait. Restrooms where clean n food presentation super. It has several sitting areas from inside to outside and even a kids area which is awesome. This is a must go to for...
