After accidentally getting locked out of my house, I decided to stop in at Tim's Tony's while awaiting my house keys. I was greeted promptly by my server, Jen, who immediately brought me a cup of coffee as it was raining outside. I was worried that the staff would be off-put by my late arrival (I got there at 7:15 despite the fact that they close at 8pm) however nothing could be further from the truth. Jen was prompt, attentive and overall very warm and welcoming. By no means did I feel rushed to cash out even though I'm certain the staff was ready to start working on closing procedures. My food arrived quickly and was far better than my expectations. I had the 5oz cheeseburger with cheddar cheese, a side of fries (perfectly crispy) and a piece of cheesecake for dessert. The burger was out of this world and definitely seemed significantly larger than the advertised 5oz portion quoted in the menu. The chef(s) did an outstanding job preparing my cheeseburger. It had just the right amount of char/searing on the outside while maintaining a perfectly juicy center without leaving the core undercooked. Finally, the cheesecake was utterly stellar. The cake itself was light and fluffy and was topped with real whipped cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries. If I could eat that much, I would have ordered a second piece as it was that good. All in all it was a great dining experience. The restaurant was clean and neat, the staff was fantastic, Jen in particular and the food was truly a cut above despite it being marketed as more a diner than a sit-down restaurant. I plan to become a regular patron at Tim's Tony's and highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a nice meal at...
Read moreWhile the steak sandwich was great, I had to share it with my wife as her “chicken Parmesan” was sub-par and that is being kind. The chicken slab was completely unseasoned, bland and very rubbery. The spaghetti noodles were not strained properly and the plate was full of water. To top it all off, the salad that came with the meal was brown and soft. Thanks for the lack of refills on my drink and the extra charge for sauce that my wife asked for to eat with the other half of my steak sandwich. When we asked to have the plate of spaghetti taken away she said she wasn’t sure if she could take it off the bill. What!?! It did end up coming off the bill but they seemed more annoyed than apologetic. We didn’t even get a manager to ask us what was wrong or even offer something else from the menu. I’ve eaten there many times but this was by far my worst experience. Beware the rubber chicken and bloated spaghetti plate. It’s a shame that I live so close and loved to eat there because they just lost my...
Read moreMy coworker went to go pick up our lunches today. They are currently bringing the food out to your car. When she got back to work, she realized that they had not given her my card back. I called, and that was correct. I have to go there directly when I get out of work because they close. I asked the manager JUSTIN if they would hook me up with a shake(2.99) for me having to come all the way out there. He said no because it was my fault that the waitress did not give back my credit card! He was really rude about it too. I didn't even really want the shake, it's the principal, an apology would have been more than sufficient! Your manager just lost you all of our...
