I can only give it 2 stars. The "puffy" tacos were flat. The rice was flavorless (I'm pretty sure it was white rice with a dash of tomato sauce- no cumin, no chicken broth). The beans were a funny color as though they came from a can, also no flavor. Their chips were good and so was the cheese enchiladas. Great Mexican food is hard to come by in Saginaw.

Oh my goodness what a cute place this is... everyone is so friendly and the tamales with the chili gravy was delicious and so was Jose the waiters recommendation of enchiladas with chicken oh they were so scrumptious!!! So delicious, I can't wait to try more!!

The Cod Fish Dinner with fries was well worth $11.00. Our waitress was friendly, and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere different to eat.

There are a couple things that brought down this rating for me. The area was real sketchy looking and when family asked what the restaurant was called I didn't want them coming here because of how 'sketchy' it was. The menus needs to be updated. My boyfriends had a paper copy of the special that looked out of date. There are also a few sharpie corrections on them and when I asked for Horchata (that was listed on the menu) I was told there was none. It's not like we were there at night where they could of ran out but we came here for lunch and there were only 3 customers the entire time we were there so it seemed to me that it doesn't get too busy. The area is pretty big so if you do wish to come here it'd be good for a large group. They do have a buffet that I saw but I never saw the price listed on the menu nor a sign, nor did the waitress say anything about it. It didn't look too appetizing so I didn't ask about it. All I know is that the waitress got out salsa and chips from the buffet. To end on a good note the food is authentic, I had chicken with mole enchiladas with a side of rice and beans. So this is where my 2 star rating comes in. Overall..sketchy atmosphere, decent waitress...

I have been eating here since they opened. They have always had the slowest service. We were the only table they had and it took 45 minutes to get our order and once we did, some of my food was uneatable and greasy it had no color left just transparent from grease, the waitress dropped it off and did not return to ask us if the food was ok or if we needed anything (mind you we are still the only table in the whole place). My boyfriend approached her and asked her to please come over. We asked for something different and when she brought it out from the kitchen she sat it on the counter, proceeded to do a few things behind the counter and didn't even bring it over while it was hot (we are still the only table and just a table of two). They are not ever too busy and with such poor waitstaff and cooks that care as little as the waitstaff I am not sure how they can afford to stay open and it's really sad because I am all for supporting local business before chains but I just can not justify paying someone for food I can't eat or a waitress that can't manage waiting...

This is a hard review. While most of the food was good there was one big let down....the beans. They tasted like water. There was no flavoring at all. They look like beans, smelled like beans but did not taste like them. I highly recommend the combination platter with chicken if you want to eat here. The people are friendly and the food service is pretty fast. It's definitely a 2 money sign place. The chicken tamales were amazing but unfortunately the beef ones did not taste so great. The people are friendly and the food service is pretty fast. It's definitely a 2 money sign place. Over all a good experience but be careful of...
