Sea World Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Saginaw

I really had my hopes up for this new restaurant. I ordered the five piece cod, dinner with fries and coleslaw. It came to $19.76. The first thing that I thought was really strange is that I’ve never heard of a fish restaurant that doesn’t carry lemons for their fish. It wasn’t that they were out of them. They just don’t have them. They even show them on their menu and I usually use extra lemons on my fish. The coleslaw that you get is maybe 3 tablespoons and I thought it tasted horrible. The fries were rubbery and ice cold. And instead of having fresh tartar sauce, I got three tiny packets of what they called tartar sauce, but it was more like runny mayonnaise. I was so disappointed. Was looking for Domino's and found Sea World took over the building. Decided to have my dinner from there. The employees/owners were extremely friendly and professional. They walked me through the ordering process and told me what their most popular items were. I ended up ordering for the entire family. The scallops, Orange Roughey and fried chicken were a hit with the wife and the kids. I had fried oyster and shrimp myself and was taken back to the times I went to seafood joints on trips to the East Coast. I was more than impressed with this place! The food is fresh and made to order. The restaurant itself was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices are fantastic.
