Johnstons LakeHouse pizza — Restaurant in Saint Albans Township

The quality of the pizza was excellent, but the service was very much lacking, and I personally feel that the pizza is overpriced. We ordered a large Hawaiian pizza and a large All the Way pizza. The man on the phone was gruff and inattentive when taking our order. He tried to hang up without giving a total charge or an estimated delivery time saying instead that it would "take a while to get there". I can understand them being busy, as it was a Saturday night, and the long wait was not the issue, but I don't think it is right to treat your customers this dismissively. I pressed for a total and an estimated delivery window. I was surprised when the total was quoted at $50 for the two pizzas I ordered, because according to their menu online it should have been $46, but I just accepted it. The pizza arrived within the approximately delivery time (we were given an estimate of about an hour, and the pizza arrived after roughly 70 minutes), and the delivery person was nice. But when I opened the pizzas inside, I realized that they got our order wrong. We received two All the Way pizzas, rather than one Hawaiian and one All the Way. So, not only were we overcharged (two large All the Way pizzas should be $48 not $50), but we also received the incorrect food. I realized that I should have asked the man taking our order to repeat the order back to me but I had been so flustered by the interaction over the phone that I did not. This is something that should be standard practice by any takeout business, ideally. Overall, I am disappointed by the experience. We do not order out often, but when we do I prefer to support local business. But after this interaction, I can't see us ordering here again. And $50 for two large pizzas just...

I hadn't ordered Pizza from Lakehouse Alexrandia for 8 to 9 months because I had an issue with an employee who tried to tell me I ordered my Pizza wrong and when I ordered it I told him 3 timed what I wanted on the phone, when I went to pick it up it wasn't even close to how I ordered it, and I worked in Pizza shops when I was younger and never would I have messed this up but when I got their and looked at the pizza it wasn't even close to what I orderd,so when I told him again he told me I orderd wrong and told me how I should've orderd it ! I was pretty hot but I stayed calm and he made the pizza over for me but when I walked out I said sorry for the misunderstanding but he didn't say sorry or nothing made me feel like it was my fault so I got In my car and thought about it for a few just got more pissed, so I through it out on Facebook witch I shouldn't have and I apologize for that but tonight I got 2 large 1 item pizzas witch were 2 dollars more than your website said and the Pizza sucked, the crust was chewy and nasty and I just wasted 37 $ on it and 4 of us didn't even finish a whole large we all had the same complaints , Crust was tuff and chewy and the sausage bland. I will not go back after that expensive experience, I'm sure all my friends that go in there will be pissed by my review but I'm a pizza freak and just had a pizza that was way over price and damn there unedible, only reason we ate what we did was because we were hungry. A year ago I gave this place a 5 star and was really pleased with there service.

But unfortunately that all ended on the 15th of July of 2024. I had placed my order at 757pm an hour an 3 minutes before they closed. Told me my order will be ready for delivery in 30 minutes. At 857, exactly an hour later my food still hasn't arrived, so I called. The phone rung like 5 times, someone picked it up and hung it right back up. So I called again, this time it was 859pm and once again they picked up and hung up. So of course at 901pm when I called back, they didn't answer, because now there closed. I waited Ann additional 15 minutes for my food and when it came, I refused to pay for it. I will no longer ever do business with lake house pizza. Me and my daughter even like to go there for there one scoop ice cream. But not no more. I'm a disabled veteran and not me or anyone deserves to be treated that way. So I have went to my now go to place of bavellies in Johnstown. It's a shame that people can't honor there customers and there food. Never again lake house pizza, you burnt this...
