Was able to sneak in right before closing, and I’m so glad! Since coming to STX, I wanted fried snapper and Gertrude’s didn’t disappoint! The pepper sauce was so nice and the sorrel just tipped me over.

Gertrude's is a local staple in the STX Community. Caribbean Island dishes are served table side or take out. The Food is always delicious and satisfying to the most discriminate pallette. Go to Gertrude's for Saltfish and Ducana, Fried Pot Fish and all the extras you can think of. A great dining hall for large crowds, groups...
