One of the the better restaurant / bar that I have been to in some time. The drinks were very tasty & have plenty of alcohol especially the pain killer plus they have some really fancy drinks I never got around to trying. The restaurant is aways from town & is the only place you can eat at if you’re staying at the Tamerind Reef Hotel unless you drive into Christiansted & it was surprisingly very good. The service was also really good though I saw some off islanders that didn’t think it was fast enough for them, they must have been from a big city. Every server & bartender gave great service & everyone was very nice & easy to talk with. I have to point out Maggie & Nesha, two of the Waitresses who were tremendous & the bartender Richard though everyone was great. I was actually surprised how really good the food was & I was there for ten days & had everything on the menu for all three meals plus all the great specials. I have been to many restaurant/bars on the beach yet not with the good food this place has. It is extremely popular & the locals come from all over the island to eat, drink & enjoy the great live music & really fun events they have every night like Disco Bingo & dance lessons among other fun stuff. You also can’t beat the huge pool which is center stage plus the sunsets are incredible & the beach is on the other side of the pool. If you’re ever in St. Croix stop by this place & enjoy the great food, drink, socializing & staff. I am looking forward to going back. Remember to always tip generously, servers have a very hard job & the pay is not great, they depend on your generosity for the job they do.

The buffet was horrible, and our tablecloth was mold while their google picture of the restaurant looked clean and inviting. The buffet had plain salad, four different types of pasta that were terrible, plain white rice, fried potato slices, terrible fried catfish, dried out chicken curry on a stick that was like jerky and wouldn’t come off, mussels I didn’t have the courage to eat, and dried out turkey on a Buscetta toast. One of the pastas may have had a few tiny bits of beef in it. The buffet was guarded by about 4 workers who dished out the slop painfully slow while acting like they were serving lobster and filet steak. It must have taken 30 minutes to get through the line while using the one paper plate they gave me at the table. The show turned out to be good, but definitely no worth the hideous buffet experience and $40 per person bill with 20 percent added gratuity.

Recent change of management and since we were driving past early afternoon we thought why not give it a try. We did some drinks and the girls got the sesame tuna appetizers and the guys did a burger & fries and the turkey Ruben special. Burger was a nice sized hand formed burger with fries on the side. Looked good from my side. Turkey Ruben was a pretty good sandwich served on rye with kraft and dressing with chicken soup as a side. The chicken soup was loaded with more chunks of chicken than anything else. But the star of the lunch was the sesame tuna appetizer, both girls said that it was a meal by its self. Served with a mound of rice topped with seaweed with perfectly cooked slices of tuna fanned around the rice. Drinks were strong enough to notice as it should be. We definitely are making a second trip out here again this week .

My husband and I came to the deep end to watch the Caribbean show on Friday July 23rd it was absolutely amazing and our waitress was outstanding the food was excellent and quick to come out of the kitchen, so when we were leaving we reserved for the next Friday July 29 at 645 for 13 people as a lot of our family was here to visit, the family was leaving the next morning so we thought this would be a great last dinner and show for them. We arrived 15 mins early our tables were ready and we were seated. Granted there may be 5 or 6 other tables already seated when we arrived. We sat there until 8pm before the waitress came over and asked if we wanted drinks. Over an hour, we watched her seat other tables get there drinks and even took there orders and deliver there food. One table even got desert and they were after us. When she finally came to ask about our drinks we ordered the food. My husband asked for a high noon and she asked what it was and stated they didn’t have those, when he told her we were there last week and ordered one he asked if they were out and she asked what flavor, At 845 one of our tables received there food. We assumed the other table would be shortly behind as they ordered directly after us. As the show now ended our family that had been seated since 645 still had no food. My husband and I went to the bar to inquire as our waitress was no where to be seen. The bartender said your food is coming, we asked to see the manager and was again told food is coming. The waitress finally came over and I very politely asked her if she could find out where the food was, she stated the kitchen is backed up we are short staffed, I stated I understand everyone is short staff but they have been waiting for over 2 hrs the show is over and everyone is leaving this is not acceptable and we are very disappointed as we were here last week and the service and food were both outstanding. She offered no apology and stated she would go get the bills for our family that was at another table that ate and was ready to leave, when we inquired about canceling the orders she stated the food was done and they are bringing it out next.. At this point my husband walked part of the family out and while he was walking out he found another employee and asked if he could find out how much longer for the food. The other employee explained that our waitress wrote one tables order on one side of the ticket and another table on the back side of the ticket so the kitchen never even seen the order. Our waitress never followed up on the order, my husband asked the helpful employee who was in charge and sure enough he pointed to our waitress and said she was the manager. The food finally came out after almost everyone was gone and after the show. We never received a apology however the waitress/manager stated she would comp our drinks. Which we only received one round from her and the rest of the time we had to pay at the bar and get our own drinks. I am stunned that as a manager she did not follow up or offer an apology. We had loved our experience the week before and even know the gratuity is already included in our bills we leave generous cash tips, we will be never returning or recommending the deep end. Never in my life have we had this bad of service and lack of empathy. I felt terrible for our family and the negative experience they had on there last dinner on this...

We made dinner reservations. The bar and grill boasts a 4 page menu with a large variety of full course meals on their website. When we were seated, we were given a one page “lunch” type menu enclosed in a plastic page protector. The menu notes that due to Covid-19, they were having difficulty receiving some foods from their distributors. Understandable, however, they should have had this information updated on their website. None of the meals had descriptions. My friend and my daughter ordered the Chicken teriyaki sandwich which came with cheese and bacon: both complained that the teriyaki sauce was very salty (more like a combo of bbq & too much soy sauce). My friend did not want the cheese or bacon. (There were not many choices on this menu!) She was so disappointed that nothing else was offered with the sandwich so when the hostess stopped by our table, she expressed her concerns and asked for lettuce and red onion. The hostess seemed annoyed stating, “all you have to do is ask”. I ordered the Caribbean jerk mahi-mahi sandwich. There was nothing jerk spicy or even seasoned about the sandwich. They didn’t have any more of the chutney sauce that was normally served with it. I didn’t know it came with the sauce because the menu did not have meal descriptions. To top it off these meals were served on regular hamburger buns and lukewarm, tasteless fries. By the way, they were out of curly fries. My friend’s son had a burger and said it was terrible. Clearly, we were not happy with our overpriced, unappetizing meals. The best things were the appetizers: mussels and Bang bang shrimp. Also the view/atmosphere is nice because it overlooks a pool and the ocean & our server was nice. Unfortunately, I would not recommend...
