Avoid this place if value quality staff and food. I have worked in food services, customer service and served with my OLCC for years.. I have never seen a restaurant operate the way they do. This is a bar that serves food.. You cannot ask for a custom order, the waitress will tell you No and that's how the manager operates.. They are not food allergen friendly.. Sandwiches are one of the easiest things to make and they prepare the meats early for order.. Ok so how hard is it to add an extra order of meat to your sandwich since they are already prepared? Nope you have to order another meal if you want extra anythings.. The waitress was much more attentive to the people at the bar rather than us who were not drinking. Honestly the tomatoe soup that came from a can was the best thing I tasted there.. Definitely not somewhere for a family with kids to eat at.. If I could give them a lower rating of a 0.5 I would. There is no way this place is a 4.7/5 In ratings.. If you post too many negative but true comments in your review they will hide it from everyone accept the Author.. Makes you wonder just how many of these good reviews are...
Read moreWent there for the first time. Hoped for an easy, light summer dinner. The menu consists of one basic $7 sandwich that you can choose if you want ham, turkey, roast beef or mushroom. That’s the only main dish option. As far as sides go, I think there were 4 choices Cucumber salad, baked Mac-n-Cheese, soup (unsure what’s kind) and tater tot’s $4 each. Miller is the only option of beer. To me the environment was very clean and staff was friendly. We had the ham and cheese, tater tots and cucumber salad. Also ordered a cherry lemonade. The sandwich seemed to have a gummy, doughy or kind of soggy Consistency. Little to be said for the cucumber salad and the cherry lemonade kinda bland. The tater tots where very good, can’t really go wrong there.
I think it’s a place that people should try for themselves. Just not what I hoped for. Was hoping for a wide range of sandwich types. Such as Deli, Clubs, Subs, French Dips or maybe Rueben’s. My expectations didn’t match the...
Read moreA simplistic road side sandwich, tots, and drinks stop. The fanfare is about the unique quirky upbeat fun shop to grab a sandwich, few tots, and a cold brew. Mr. Goose features a few seats, a bar, and a few outdoor seating with good amounts of parking. It is worth an experience and a quirky short stop if you're commuting up or down the road and in the mood for a munch.
Drinks despite rather inexpensive, the cocktails can use a lot more exquisite shape up and for that matter the food options can use a bit of Oomph... otherwise it's just a sandwich. Staff is quite friendly and lovely. Service is prompt and attentive.
All things considered. A very solid 4 stars for the ambiance, quirk, fun, food. A bit of work full 5 stars will be within grabs.
Do visit. It is...
