IF IT’S DAYTIME, GO TO BURITO USA INSTEAD.
If I could no star, I would. There are two primary reasons for my opinion, the second of which is most concerning: Due to it being one of the only two food options which are open late, I’ve given Taco Bell more chances than I should have. Over the last roughly two years, I have gone to Taco Bell maybe a dozen times. Of those times, my order has never been correct. Typically, I am missing a whole item that I paid for, sometimes two. There’s also the multiple beefy 5 layers which came with just a single tortilla, beans, and meat—with no layers of saucy goodness. Or the chicken quesadillas with no chicken? And there’s certainly a reputation among every local I know that Taco Bell always messes up your order, so make sure to check before you leave. And here’s the deal, I know it’s largely kids working their first jobs, and I get it can be hard. I don’t blame them though, they are always quite friendly and willing to fix their mistakes. I blame the management who is not training these kids to handle the pressures of fast food. Which actually leads to my second and vastly more important reason! I feel the management is unprofessional. As I do delivery services in town and am often in Taco Bell multiple times a day, usually waiting at least 20 minutes, I have witnessed a manager sitting at the front table for hours on end, playing on their phone and eating while the (under)staff(ed) tries to deal with the chaos. Not just “on a break” or “doing important business on the phone” but full blown on social media playing videos and laughing and showing them to staff while they try to complete their work during a rush. Their kids and significant other(?) are often with them, and the kids tend to leave a mess which the manager seems unconcerned with cleaning up. I get having your kids at work, daycare is expensive, but to not bother cleaning up? Really? Leaving it on your high school employees as you let your children run around the booths with their food, getting cheese on things? Wow. Kids will be kids, but adults should know better… And it is quite clear that this adult does not. I firmly believe a new and more professional management team should replace the current people in charge. I am certain the staff turnover rate and customer satisfaction would improve with a more competent...
Read moreI usually like this place, but over the past couple months the service seems to be getting worse. I probably eat here more than I should but I'm busy and the food is cheap, fast, and generally pretty good. I've had some bad food there recently, with the food being either dry or old tasting. Over the past two weeks I've been there three times. The first time I ordered I got 2 cheese quesadillas and when I got home (I live about 15 minutes away) I realized they didn't add the sauce it normally comes with, so it was just cheese on a tortilla and was too dry and not very tasty. The second time I went I made the same order, and decided to check before I left to save myself some disappointment. My mistake was only checking the quesadilla on top and not the second one. The first one had the sauce and when I got home I realized the second one did not. The third time I went was today. I work in customer service myself so I try to go out of my way to not be rude, because I realize mistakes happen and not necessarily at the fault of the person helping me. I kindly told the girl helping me what had happened and asked her if someone could make sure the sauce made it on this time. When I pulled up to the window the employee was short and rude with me. As I pulled away I quickly checked to make sure there was sauce, and sure enough there was, but when I opened them up when I got home there was wayyyyy too much sauce. Much more sauce than I had ever gotten on a quesadilla there, and I've been going since they reopened after the remodel. The food was soggy and difficult to eat because the sauce was running out the sides and all over my hands. I ended up tossing them after trying deal with it. I don't know if I will be back now. Sorry this is such a long review, but their employees don't seem to care about keeping customers happy and returning. It felt as though the excessive sauce was deliberate, especially after the attitude I experienced from the cashier. I am surprised that any manager or supervisor on shift is allowing...
Read moreThis taco bell has taken a drastic turn for the worst.. last time I came to this taco bell it was sub par like any other taco bell, but I went there last night at about 12:30 (had the late night munchies, don't judge) but we got up there wanting to get 2 separate orders and they said it depended on how much food we were going to get cause they only had one cook, we weren't getting alot so it didn't matter, but I never knew there was a limit on how much food they could sell the consumer.. got up to the window (im not trying to judge) but they looked like total tweekers that had been on a 3 day binge, it was visibly clear the lady at the window definitely was not wearing a bra, I could see her nipples through that thick ass taco bell shirt. super rude and never said thank you or have a nice night or anything customer service oriented whatsoever.. almost seemed like they were upset that we even came through to get food.. anyways got my food drove home and it looked like their attitude, they didn't even wrap the 2 tacos I got, they had placed the wrapping paper at the bottom of my bag and tossed my taco at the bottom, so everything was out of the taco and just resting at the bottom of my bag as was the other one.. so I basically bought a taco salad with the bag as my bowl. Never really seen anything like this before. And the whole time I was super nice to them naturally, because they are making my food. But yeah, needless to say, I'm not going back and if any of my friends want to go to this one with me, I would do my darndest to persuade them to do otherwise.. I would on the other hand tell my foes they should...
