If you're craving a 1950s midwest eatery experience, where the food is cheap and fast, and cheap, and fast, and very cheap, then go here. Its signature is the Crumbly. It is a great introduction a loose-meat hamburger; you would not be wrong in trying it here. Strongly advise getting a plastic fork for the meat that will collect in the wrapper as you eat.
The onion rings are well-breaded and delightful. The fried pickles are more than worth the price of admission.
Don't get the tenderloin sandwich though. It reminded me of little league, at the snack shack. Staring up with sad eyes after another 9-0 loss. The pork tenderloin, 3oz of industrially breaded pork byproduct with two wimpy pickles, onion bits and a zealous slathering of mustard made me remember all the losses of...
Read moreone of my favorite go-to spots to eat lunch! always a quick and pleasant trip.
edit:HIGHLY disappointed at the new staff hired. 3 girls in there yelling about fighting another girl and who their “opps” (enemies) are. they didn’t even speak to me when I was ordering they just continued talking to each other. there’s a tiktok meme that says “just put the fries in the bag” and they literally threw both chili cheese fries in the bag, one was leaking out the box bc it was obviously not set right. I was also over charged on the fries that were supposed to be the special today but that was the least of my issues with today’s visit. if I could give today 0 stars I would. and i’m a very frequent customer and usually love coming here and the...
Read moreWhen we pulled in the parking lot I thought to myself "the food must be good with the parking lot almost full." This was at 2p.m. It was an indicator of a lot of a good meal, and really good service. The gal that took our order was y at what she does. I've got ax 10 yr. old boy that's awful shy and soft spoken but she engaged him and had his order in no time. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of items to order from. Lots of sweets to chose from as well. My only complaint would have to be the prices. I didnt look at all the prices but know a big ole tenderloin was the exact same:I fed / price as a crumbly burger with cheese. ($3.39) i fed 4 people for $22.00. I guess that's pretty reasonable. I will be back to try...
