Guarnieri Pizzeria — Restaurant in Saint Marys

Their shrimp is really good, kind of like a tempura batter. I like it with the garlic parmesan sauce, which isn't the greatest itself, but it's a good mix with the shrimp. The honey bbq is a really good sauce, especially for the wings. The fettuccini with alfredo sauce is terrible. I'm not so sure that they've taste tested the sauce itself, or they wouldn't be serving it to their customers. It has no flavor, except a bad bland, leaves a horrible aftertaste. If you take it home, be sure to have milk, parmesan cheese, pepper and garlic to make it how alfredo should taste. The noodles are dry, brownish. Their marinara sauce isn't that great either, but I'd recommend that before the alfredo. Subs tend to be over baked, the buns are too hard and crunchy, I guess if you like it that way, then it's a win for you. It's not the worse place in St Marys, but by far not the best. I'd say the best shrimp though, can't go wrong...

Went here with my fiance for our weekly date night. We had never been here before and had read good reviews online....plus its 20 minutes from the house. We waited an hour and twenty minutes for 2 salads and a hoagie. The waitress was nice enough . They did comp us one beer for our wait. Good food but a really long wait. Atmosphere is much like that of a slow pub/bar. Small dining area. Closely seated tables. We will probably never eat in but would consider take out. Longest wait we've ever had at a restaurant. We would of been more understanding had they been swamped but they were very slow minus a few take out orders. For $32 we will likely eat in somewhere that does not take...

Not a great experience. One server covering the entire dining area. 35 minutes to get drinks and never refilled our water. 55 minutes until our appetizer arrived. Food was unimpressive. Pepp & Chips appetizer was nothing to write home about. Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken was NOT good. Noodles were overcooked, little sauce, so really dry, and the chicken was not seasoned at all. The pizza was the one bright spot of the meal. Very tasty, but unfortunately, over-priced compared to other pizza of similar quality in the area.
