Friendly Tavern — Restaurant in Saint Marys

First impression - very nice and updated restaurant / bar TVs almost everywhere in view. They also have plugs at booths to utilize which I thought was really nice to be able to charge a phone or plug in a computer. Including usb plugs. Drinks - lots of options mostly normal stuff. OJ, Apple, lemonade, Tea, milk/chocolate milk. Food - basic good old breakfast. French Toast Sticks - for the daughters. Choice of meat, sausage which they had both link and patty, and bacon. We went with the links and bacon for their French toast. French toast - I chose the French toast and I was not disappointed. Very tasty and texture was on point. I had one of the Thursday specials (available 4pm-8pm), pulled pork on a bun served with cornbread & 2 sides. I chose the potato salad and coleslaw. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was Breanna, who was exceptionally upbeat & friendly and did a great job serving us! My husband had the half rack baby back rib dinner (another Thursday special) with cornbread, baked beans & potato salad. Amy was excellent, and diligent. Very friendly and skilled with her position. The wife and I had a fantastic date night. The food was excellent. Seasoned nicely (Tenderloin) and proportionate. The Philly loaded fries were delicious, well topped, and nailed a craving I didn't know I had.I'd recommend this place to anyone.
