I came there to meet up with my girlfriends and the waitress was very nice and helpful at first, but after my girlfriends arrived we went ahead and ordered our food. It took a really long time to get our food when there were not that many people. After we got our food and started eating just 15 minutes later the waitress kept rushing us like every 5 minutes she would come asked us “do you need a box? Are you still working on that? Can I take that?” We just wanted to be left alone to enjoy our dinner. And why can’t we have that? But we want to see what’s her deal is before assuming anything. We don’t know if she’s trying to get her tip cause she’s about to get off or something, but after we’re done paying for our dinner we started snapping some quick pictures. She came ask us again, do you girls need something? We answered, no? She walked away. She has an attitude problem. And I thought this place was a bar/restaurant. I don’t understand cause they said on their web site open 11am till 10pm and it was only 8:30??? What’s her problem??? The restaurant owner need to check her. Or else y’all is just running a poor business I would...
Read moreMy server Mike was super friendly, it was an unusually slow night so we chatted a bit. Service for me is huge and he made me feel welcome as if I had eaten here weekly since the place opened. As people came in he seemed to know a good number of them, which to me is a very good sign (repeat customers/ regulars). I had the chips and dip sampler, the chips are outstanding. I enjoyed all of the dips my favorite was the Pico, the queso was my second favorite, worth the salsa and guac in a very close 3rd place. I also had the taco platter.. it was three tacos on corn tortillas with rice and refried beans. The two sides both exceeded my expectations as they usually seem like afterthoughts thrown on to fill up the plate at many places. The rice was bussin to use my kids slang, maybe it slapped? Either way delicious. The tacos though, they brought me back to my last trip to Mexico, fresh bright and delicious. If you're on the fence about this place you should just try it out, I'm positive you...
Read moreWas looking for a restaurant close to home because it was late and I was tired. Looked on Google Maps and found Casa Azul Agave. What a great find!. The food is excellent - came out hot and plated beautifully. The interior of the restaurant is very pretty - they have made the most of their space. Servers were gracious and solicitous. While looking at the menu, I had chips and salsa. The chips came warm - I love warm, toasty chips. Salsa very fresh tasting - the right amount of heat for me. There are multiple hot sauce bottles on the table if you want to zip it up. I had the chicken chimichangas with beans. The dinner came with diced tomatoes, sour cream, and guacamole salad. Everything was so, so good. The perfect meal - the serving was large so I took some home (YAY!). Anyway, I'll be returning regularly to try other items on the menu. Everything looked so good - it was...
