153 Restaurant Cafe — Restaurant in Saipan

I've eaten the Korean food at this place a few times - it's good and the taste is pretty consistent each time I order. However, what put me off today is the lack of knowledge from the wait staff and how it was handled thereafter. I ordered kimchi fried rice and asked for overeasy eggs. The eggs came out to be fully cooked (yolk was completely cooked/dry). When I nicely mentioned to the wait staff that my eggs are not overeasy, she corrected me and said they were. I told her that overeasy eggs should have a runny yolk then she told me that what I'm looking for is sunny-side eggs (which is completely different, although both are runny). It would have been no big deal had she not corrected me, but the lack of basic food cooking knowledge as a someone who works at a restaurant plus the fact that I was corrected when they were clearly wrong is what left a bad taste in my mouth.

In addition, whenever I dine in, the wait staff never comes around to check on you to see if you need more water, even when it's not busy. I've noticed that this is pretty common with restaurants in Saipan, not just at...

Good customer service! Variety of options on the menu. Serves local and Filipino cuisine. Prices are average. Portions are reasonable. Didn’t like the spaghetti. It was too sweet and barely had any meat. Don’t order the stir fried beef chop steak. It was something you could cook at home. And also I don’t recommend breakfast.
