I visited twice and enjoyed Cinnamon Rolls, Donuts and Eclairs. This bakery was clean, bread and cake taste was excellent and yammy! However, I had an unfortunate event at this bakery.
I flyed Skymark Airlines from Tokyo Narita. I received a booklet for visiting Saipan from flight attendant. When this booklet was presented, it was stated that "Buy a product at the bakery, free coffee or iced tea" and "Press a Lucky Draw participation stamp". On first visit, after presenting a booklet, bakery employee said, "I'll serve you coffee or iced tea." However, this ice tea charged at bill. Next day, I visit also presented a booklet, but coffee charged at bill also. At that time, I heard employee, "Why do you charge for coffee? The booklet is written "Service". A female employee says, "The booklet is incorrect. "When you buy coffee or iced tea, we will be given service of stamping a Lucky Draw entry stamp." It means "Service" may not mean "Free of charge".
I don't know if Skymark arilines issued the booklet incorrectly, or if bakery employee understood it incorrectly. However, I was wasted time on my traveling.

Why hasn't it gone away from writing out receipts on a carbon copy booklet? I had a horrible experience where I ordered a holiday special and asked for it to be available for pick up on a specific date. Due to a flight change, I stopped by to change date of pick up to 1 day later. I showed the cashier the copy of the receipt on my phone. I couldn't believe when she said I had to go get the original paper receipt just to change the date. Seriously? I had to drive back home to get the paper receipt just to change the date of when I wanted to pick up my order that I've already paid for? WHY? because the cashier couldn't simply look at my receipt number that I'm showing her on my phone, match it to their copy, write down the change, and have me sign and date for the changes? Seriously? So inefficient! So ridiculous! The processes need to stop being so antiquated. We live in a world of technology. Get with the program and as my dad likes to say "grow with the times ".
