McDonald's — Restaurant in Salem

If you do get a job here and you have a problem with anything The DM and GM will not listen to you. They will brush it off. They don't care.

They'll give you One day a week and tell you that the students need more hours. The students do not get these hours and be told that they should ask for hours.

A few of my coworkers had enough of this and walked out.

EDIT: one of the people who walked out came back to talk to the DM but the DM told a few of us employees that she wasn't going to talk to them so both the GM and the DM snuck out the backdoor to avoid a chat.

Isn't that the DM's job? To find out why their employees walked out? Or she just listens to whatever the GM tells her even tho more than half the time she's lying through her teeth.

They both lie and an act like they're better than everyone.

Edit #2: They have a designated manager that does scheduling but the GM and DM will edit the schedule after it was made to suit their needs.

If you're a student and gave a 2 week notice for having certain days off (example: football, cheerleading, baseball, ect) the designated manager for scheduling will schedule them off but the DM or GM will edit the schedule and make them work those days as morning shifts even though they have school on those days. The DM and GM will then proceed to say "If they don't come in they will be fired."

I'm writing this here because their HR hates answering the phone and Ive heard its just 2 people DM and owners Wife...

By far the best high tech restaurant in Lisbon “the only high tech” shout out to Josh who tried so hard to get us to use the mobile order but we instead chose to talk to him instead of a screen and pay him in cash.

Recently remodeled as a modern McDonald’s with typical duel drive thru lanes. Very pleasant inside. The hanging plants inside are green.

Make sure you bring your chain saw with you to open the peanuts if you get a sundae because the package was indestructible (we ended up throwing ours away)

While the food probably isn’t healthy for us, it did taste good.

McDonald’s also needs better quality control on the ketchup dispensers. Lately it always comes out pinkish and bubbly as if the vinegar has gone rancid. They must already be aware of this since this location had ketchup packets out next to the dispenser..

Leaving 4 stars only because the sign is still the old style and does not match the building decor and also cause the peanuts were too difficult to open.

Food is amazing as always, never really had an issue here and when I do they take care of it when and if they can. As long as you talk to them without a tone in your voice and be friendly they are too, I worked fast food before so a lot of the issues they have never bothers me because I've been in that situation. If you complain about ice cream being down or them not having something it's not them not wanting to sell it, it's because there is an issue with the machine. The pop machine in the back seems like it has an issue because when I go through drive thru and ask for light ice my cup gets filled with ice, which again isn't thier fault it's the machine...
