Ladi's Place — Restaurant in Salinas

This place is absolutely beautiful. The wait staff is very attentive and entertaining. They make sure you have a great experience. Our waitress was Iris, I haven’t had such a wonderful evening with my partner in a very long time. Weekends are packed as expected for such an amazing view and ambiance. It takes a bit longer for the food on weekends but who is truly in a rush to leave such an amazing vibe. I see very unkind reviews and I will tell what I saw. Many disrespectful,entitled and truly rude customers. They treated the wait staff badly. They let their children run like wild animals in a restaurant and don’t even have the decency to give the staff decent gratuity. Our server was amazing and we made sure she got what she deserved. We are very grateful for her genuinely kind service, bright smile and attention to detail. To all the nasty clients speaking badly shame on you. If you want fast food go to McDonald’s. I’m sure it’s within your budget...

Decided to check out this place since it was recommended to me and my wife. The drinks were really great, try out the mojito and you won’t be disappointed. Nice and strong! The food took about an hour to get to us after ordering, our appetizer took like 35 minutes as well. Very slow slooowwww service for being the only few folks in the restaurant. Our server was nice and friendly although not very attentive to our table. Once the food arrived it was okay, the chicken was dry even though it was smothered in a sauce, beans for the rice was cold. The fish seemed like it was just thawed, didn’t seem like it was fresh despite us dining out right by the sea. The calamari appetizer was so over cooked it was chewy, better off going to Olive Garden for that. The atmosphere itself was really nice and cozy, nice seeing the water outside as well. I came in with my family. Right from the start the hostess, which is the manager had an attitude with us. He cannot be a manager if he has a nasty attitude with customers. We waited 30 minutes just to get water. We had no menus, I asked one of the male waiters for menus. He told us to get on the website, but every single table had menus. We waited and waited and nothing. I got up and went to the bar for menus. The same waiter told me that he already told to go to the website. I proceeded to tell him that every table has menus and I would like menus. He claimed that they were out of menus and he walked away. He had a really disgusting attitude. If they hire waiters and managers with nasty attitudes then this restaurant will not get any business. The waiter that had an attitude with us, is Raymond. The food was not as good.
