Salinas Pizza — Restaurant in Salinas

Reviews are pretty misleading, I have been wanting to stop by because of them. I actually ended up here because of a voucher I had for supporting small businesses in Salinas. I was excited to stop by being my favorite food is pizza. The Pizza wasn’t bad but it’s not the best as claimed by the reviews. It’s hard for me to be harsh since the pizza was free thanks to the voucher. I would definitely choose this place over Little Ceasers for pizza. BUT I would definitely pass on the wings, those I did pay out of pocket so I have to say I won’t get those again, since they are frozen these take longer to cook. The wings I got where unfortunately not ready the skin was hard to chew and rubbery. (I’ll try to save them at home by throwing them in the air fryer). I don’t like to waste food…. The real treasure here are the Mexican Biónicos and fresas con crema… I seen a customer order a few of them and they look delicious… I missed out should of ordered...

I’m giving it 5 stars but not for their pizza… giving it 5 stars because they have corn on the cob and it is delicious! They sell a lot different Hispanic snacks here that you wouldn’t find at a traditional pizza shop. I was eating at a Mexican restaurant in the same plaza and noticed someone walking out of the pizza place with a corn In their hand! Lol I went to go check it out after dinner and I also purchased a corn on the cob with Mayo + cheese and it was wonderful and the lady who made it took her time and made it really well. I’ll probably never eat pizza here but I will be coming back for their other...

Terrible service. I made an order online waited for over an hour untill i finally called them and the lady said that online services said I cancelled my order just 2 minutes after placing my order and that they had a voicemail from me stating i wanted it cancelled. She sounded nervous. I believe she was was lying to me and never got to my order. Bs

Edit: I called 'Slice' directly, Silce is the company they use to operate their online orders. I was told by them that the restaurant actually canceled my order. Never buying pizzas...
