Bought myself an ice cream birthday cake from them because i had a bad birthday so obviously you know, was trying to make it a little better but of course I shouldn’t have expected any less from the young staff they mess my order up half the time I go there. Their portions seem to change and keep getting smaller too but back to the ice cream cake. Yum. We don't go as often as we used to. But trust me, it's not because we didn't want to. I think my husband and I spent enough time here during the pandemic we probably could have put a tent in the parking lot. Lol. Of course, that time being so prisoned Hodgies hung in there and gave us all the delicious comfort we all so badly needed. Thankfully, not only is the homemade ice cream delicious, but the frozen yogurt is fantastic. Hard serve and the soft serve. It's very creamy and light. The Newburyport Hodgies I like a little bit more. Amesbury Hodgies doesn't look as nice, but, Amesbury has more convenient parking and picnic tables to sit and eat. I ordered online for everyone and they gave me the wrong flavor. My son and my friend got their orders correct. I ordered a Thundercloud and I got a chocolate instead, which was my son's order.
