Neo Restarant & Bar — Restaurant in Salisbury

Editing in 2025- I have loved this restaurant and had many good experiences here. It's been a while since I've been. Tonight was a bummer. Our server was lovely, drinks arrived quickly. Appetizer- yum! But ordering a steak, which Ive gotten here multiple times in the past (and always cooked beautiful) was extremely over done (photo added). Im not a medium well to well done person, so it wasn't something I could eat. Our server was gracious and let the kitchen know. They said it was cooked to temp and while it was taken off the bill- I really just wanted another steak. This wasn't even offered. I would have gladly paid for it, it was a beautiful hunk of meat. Just wanted it cooked as ordered.

Really enjoyed the experience here! Sarah was a wonderful waitress, and very attentive. Delicious cocktails and the food...our struggle was deciding what to try but we went with various seafood appetizers and everything was scrumptious. I have been a regular customer at Neo since they opened. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is acceptable. However, Neo definitely has its flaws. First, you will be able to get through TSA, eat at McDonald’s, then drive home in the time you will get dinner here. Like others have noted, I believe the staff assumes their customers need to read the entire menu seven times before deciding their order. Second, you won’t have to worry about taking your coat off at the door. They keep the place cold enough that this is not necessary. On a positive note, a lack of seating will never be an issue, since sitting outside in December is nearly as comfortable as sitting inside. Embarrassing excuse of a lunch menu. The chicken panini would be dry if it hadn't been for the ranch that was lazily slopped onto my sandwich. The chicken itself was sliced less than half an inch thin and the tomatoes about an inch thick. The chicken is not cooked on a grill with no visible grill marks leading me to belive it was cooked on a flattop, judging by the taste not a very clean one. I'm half way convinced that they order pre cooked chicken and simply warm it on the flattop, bread was also not toasted at all.
