GTO BBQ — Restaurant in San Antonio

The BBQ was delicious and the portions were large especially for the price.

I got the Combo for about 14$ and got Brisket and Chicken for the meat; Mac & Cheese and cream corn as the sides and hot damn it was tasty. I was planning on saving some for after work but I couldn't resist and inhaled it all. The meats were nice and juicy, mac and cheese was one of the best Ive had at a restaurant. The cream corn was good, but it was missing something to make it great, maybe some fresh black pepper and maybe a tad more salt, but it was still tasty.

ONLY DOWNSIDE... theres almost no seating, this is an order and go eat somewhere else or bring your own seating kind of thing. I wont count it against them though, since its basically a food truck right now.

I live by this place and always pass by it, but yesterday I went to give it a try. Y’all when I say it’s a hidden gem I mean it. The chopped brisket sandwiches, sides and sausage are awesome tasting. If I could recommend this place to everyone, I would. The owner was nice and polite, and showed passion for what he does. Hopefully more people come because he deserves business for how good the food is, and how fair the prices are. I never felt undersold or underwhelmed. I’ll definitely be back because wow what...

Man!!!!! The smell when you walk up to the food truck had my mouth watering!!!!! I was already hungry, then I was times 10 hungry. It smelled so good, I wanted to buy bulk by the pound. You can only do that on the weekend. I can understand that. I got the pulled pork sandwich, fries, and a coke. Bbq sauce was good. I pounded that with a quickness. I will be going back next time I'm around...
