Hacienda Vallarta Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in San Antonio

Absolutely never eating here again. I have had not one but two bad experiences here at the restaurant and the staff is horrible. This restaurant is beyond greedy and customer service is not a thing. They will argue with you about replacing your order that they got wrong. Literally. Even if you call, even if you give them the persons name who you spoke with and take pictures of the food. Ridiculous. We brought a receipt, they said they can’t verify the receipts because they are in the safe. They tried to call the woman “Alexa” that we spoke with, they said she wasn’t answering the phone. He questioned us on whether we “ate” the food with the items I was ALLERGIC to on them. After we said no, he continued to question us “So you just threw away the food, you didn’t eat a perfectly good taco”. And then after arguing with us and everyone watching and listening in their restaurant, he accused us of trying to scam the restaurant because “A lot of people come in there trying to get free food”. He even made us give him the our debit card to verify. They even went to the extent to check the cameras to verify we came. AND WE DID. All of this over ONE taco and a torta. My family eats here at least two times a week. I will never eat at this establishment again. I left feeling extremely disrespected. And the kicker is we received the food after arguing for half an hour, and it was sloppy made like he made it with anger. I didn’t even want to eat it I was so scared he did something to it. Horrible experiences, horrible staff, horrible management....

I have loved EVERYTHING I’ve ordered from this restaurant and have recommended to many of my friends and family. We’ve never ordered anything we didn’t like. The manager’s (especially the male mgr) and staff are very friendly and helpful. I always order through DoorDash and the only complaint I have is that they don’t have an option for bean & cheese tacos on their menu. I always have to order a different kind of taco (which cost more) and I have to put in the special notes that I want bean & cheese instead of whatever taco I had to choose from. I’ve brought it to the attention of a couple mgrs and they’ve both told me that they are listed under breakfast tacos but I’ve looked everywhere and I don’t even see breakfast tacos listed anywhere on the menu. They said I’m the only one that has this problem but I’ve several friends and family look on their app and they don’t see them either. I’m hoping that the owner or district manager will see this and fix this issue with DoorDash because I even contacted DoorDash about this and they looked and said they couldn’t find them either. Thanks in advance for hopefully resolving this issue. Again this is in no way a complaint when it comes to the food or service they deliver, it’s delicious! 10 out of 10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’d recommend even though they only have the option of 1 to 5...

My family and I frequent several locations weekly. Very good food,service and environment. The only thing that they fail at is their beverages,especially tea. Several times I have gone through drive thru and several times they have given us spoiled tea. Once brought to their attention,they say"its still good it's only 4 hrs old 😨 We get stuck with it and waste the money because they are not a customer is right establishment. The drinks are just as important for health reasons. Tea is only good room temperature in an urn for 2 hrs. The taste we taste when spoiled is mold. They don't dump it,they keep serving it. The spigots must be soaked in a sanitizing solution alongside coke machine spouts nightly. Whats crazy is that tea is cheaper than soda and the owners make more money if they sell more tea rather than soda but I guess it's too much work for some people to keep up with fresh cheap money making tea. Im loyal to my favorite Mexican food chain I just won't be ordering drinks from there with my food. Weekly for us at their establishment is about 60 dollars alone weekly as an add on. Alcoholic beverages....I have no complains. Really good place for work meeting and out of town families to come eat some Good food. Thank you vallarta. I hope to put that...
