The food was good honesty everything was good even though we felt a little bit overlook when we got to our table but it’s fine they weren’t busy I get it, it happens.Until they brought the check ($18)cool I gave them my card and they bring me the paper and the receipt paper to sign and as am finishing to sign it I see it’s ($28) and my phone goes off telling me it was out of my bank and it’s the $28. So then I tell the server “wasn’t it $18” and she says “no yeah that’s what your paying for “ so I proceeded to read it out loud and she realize that it’s not our check. Then they go and void it and am like maybe it’s gonna take 5 business days but they said no it pending I said okie I will just wait till tonight. Then they void it charge me correctly and instead of apologizing she says” these things happen all the time , it’s a business” and I said “that’s really bad if this happens all the time”. She says “not always and it’s a business, it does”. and I say “yeah, I get that, but y’all not even busy”. She proceeds to say that it’s a business and even starts to blame the register machine saying “ the machine charged y’all wrong”. Which I proceeded to chuckle I’m not gonna lie. I was trying not to laugh, because the thought of the machine, knowing which table I was in and pressing the check that was supposed to be mine and it’s ringing me up. Which I know it was the other lady that was on the machine pressing the buttons. And I just keep saying “no yeah I get it “but because I wanted to stop arguing because I was trying to eat in peace. All this would have not happen if she just apologized. I would have been okie with it, but it’s fine because I still forgive, even though they didn’t apologize to me and then she proceeds to KEEP talking saying that it’s a business ,as if I never have worked for business before. Also they represent the business (my dad goes to eat there and he also his words says that there lazy). So I didn’t respond because I was over it. The tension was so thick and when I needed things I had to yell over to where the counter was because it felt like they stop serving me. Safe to say if they charge you for the wrong ticket “ DoN’t WoRrY, It’S A bUsInEsS ThEsE ThInGs HaPpEn...
Read moreSo, my buddy and I have been going to this place for a couple of years. The food's good, not the best in San Antonio, but good enough and it's close to work. The service has always been great. But today, I went there, had water with my meal, and left a $7 tip on a $20 bill. Before I left, I asked for a water to-go. My waitress grabbed a cup and went to the water dispenser. And then it happened – she dropped the lid on the floor, picked it up, and put it right on the cup and handed it to me! Obviously, I refused the cup with a lid that had just been on the floor. She offered me another one (I don't know if it was a new cup and lid), but I was so stunned I just said forget by waiving my hand and left. In the car, I told my buddy we need to find a new lunch spot. If they're dropping lids on the floor and think it's okay to serve that to a customer, what else is hitting the floor and ending up on your plate?!" It's unfortunate because I enjoyed the food and service previously, but that kind of lapse in basic sanitation is a...
Read moreI do not enjoy the Mexican plate at all. The beans tasted sour. The taco meat was not hot. The enchiladas appeared to be have been made yesterday or the day before. Tasted like it too. The waitresses are speedy and attractive. When I went to pay my tab my waitress what's on the cash register. And she appeared to be waiting for a tip. I did not tip her because she had told me that the food was good. Today Monday September 13th 2021 was the first day in decades that I went there to get something to eat. I have no intention nor desire to return to La Quinta restaurant. I stopped there just before noon because it appeared to be crowded and it was but it was not overcrowded. My personal advice don't go there if you're looking for...
