I will start out by telling you I went to place an order to go. This location McDonald's dining room was closed even know most dining rooms are open at other McDonald's. However, I understand that this area of town is not all that safe. Therefore, you can only take it to go either through drive-thru or ordering it online for curbside pickup. I ordered it online because I had a very large order to place. I made my order and completed the transaction online and my bank was charged accordingly. Then the waiting began. I waited and waited and waited for my order that never came. So I knocked on the door and the manager came and he replied that my order wasn't received inside for them to prepare. I showed him that my bank had been charged to pay for the order and I don't know why my order was never received inside for them to prepare. Even though I went ahead and placed my order again with the same results and another charge to my financial institution as well as mother she charged to my personal institution and the same I don't know answer from the Manager.
I finally ased the manager to please help me figure out what was wrong so that I could have my order prepared.
I said well it's been paid for and he says well unless I get your order to the back I can't make your order and I said well can you can you tell me what's going on how can I fix it I don't know is the answer I don't know I don't know I don't know and this is a manager I don't think he even knows his head from his you know what. However, I tried again and accepted my order and mind you a second payment with John from my account and waited and no food agejain same answer from the manager without your order coming to inside I don't know I don't know. This is truly an unacceptable answer especially from someone in management who should know and if not can at least make it right. Furthermore he actually attempted to try to help me and charge my bank three more times and still no order through to the back so they can prepare my food. By that time my funds for eating out had been depleted and I was starving and I got the same answer again and again I don't know I don't know he sounded like a broken record player. If this is the type of management this location hires I don't know maybe they should look somewhere else for someone that better represents McDonald's I would be embarrassed if I handed out my customers that answer repeatedly especially in that position when it's your job to find out or make it right. By the time I left there I was so hungry angry and just disgusted by the lack of professionalism and customer service orientation that I will never set foot on a McDonald's property again that is pretty bad. Therefore I went on down the street to a rivalry Burger location wow my card and my order was placed appropriately I receive my food in a very fast and adequate time enter not to mention professionalism. So I know I made the right decision not to look back at those golden arches especially the one on South New Braunfels and Highway 90. Hasta la vista. Read moreWas in a hurry to get my son to work for his first day on the job but wanted to get him some breakfast first. As I was passing McDonald's I noticed only one car in the drive thru and only needed two breakfast meals so figured how long could this take; I had 15 minutes to spare. Taking my order and my money was fast, then came the kick in the gut, "please pull to slot #2 and we'll take your order out to you". WHAT?! It's a couple of breakfast meals. There's no line and your going to pull me up to park; that was problem #1. As I sit there for the next 10 minutes waiting, the car before me is still waiting in slot #1, there is now a car in slot #3, a fourth car is pulled up to the 3rd window, a fifth and sixth car are at a standstill on the payment and handout window. You would think there would be a sense of urgency and they would send a runner out, but the slowest person in the WORLD!!! inches her way out to the first vehicle and holds a several minute conversation with the customer (probably a wrong order or something) and then slowly goes back into the restaurant to grab my order. I literally could not stand to see her inching her way to my vehicle that I literally got out of my vehicle and quickly approached her to grab my meal myself. My son was already late at that point. There's no excuse McDonald's could give for having such poor service. I was the 2nd car in line and there were no other cars at the time. I did not have a big order nor a complicated one. This McDonalds does not care about their business or their customers. They display no sense of urgency or having any desire to please customers. They will get your food prepared and served how and when they feel like it. And if their drive-through is on a timer, they falsify their performance by instantly parking cars in their parking lot to deliver food when they feel like it. They don't deserve "OUR" business.

Read moreI am utterly appalled by the mindset this store has when coming to their employees with disabilities. This store messed up twice and sent a man with a disability after everything so I wouldnt let my frustration out on the store. Then when I called to speak to the manager or to take this further I couldn't since the phone isn't connected. How can you run a business in 2024 and the number you have online and on the receipt isn't even valid.
The first mistake was seeing an empty space too small for my car and saying to wait there for my food. So I decided the logical thing to do was park in the next open spot (which was numbered for the drive thru) and wait. Some young man came out looked at the spot and saw no one was there (no one could fit there! Due to how other customers parked) and went back in with my food. I tried to call the store to let them know and the phone was disconnected.
I waited for over 25 minutes for food that was pre-ordered and pre paid.
When my food finally came the nice gentleman said he was sorry for the delay and gave me my order. I was pissed because of all the inconveniences but I couldn't take it out on the stores pawn. The manager should have come out and handled it, but they were bwing a coward and let the minimum wage worker with a disability deliver the food to my car and get the possibility of being chewed out.
This was sad and disgusting behavior on this stores fault.
I do expect a serious response back soon. I will also be posting this experience on the Google reviews as well as yelp.
This was unprofessional at the least, and a human rights violation.
