Starbucks — Restaurant in San Antonio

This location has been my go to! I used to love coming here. I work at 1604 and bulverde as a fellow Starbucks barista. Sadly this location has not met the standard that was instilled in me. I order my usual drink, with “stevia”. When I got both my drinks, I realized both were most definitely not sweetened with stevia. I am horribly diabetic. It would seem just looking at sugar hurts me. I try to maintain my health as best as I can working at Starbucks. At any rate, I came back later to order a drink for myself and my wife and politely telling the barista on front what happened. She took my order and I then asked her to make sure there is stevia in there because my blood sugar has sky rocketed. I heard her tell the barista on bar to make sure to put stevia. That barista responded something along the lines of……” just for that I’m going to put extra….”. I know we get busy. I know we joke around. But if I was an ordinary customer and not a partner, I would def take offense to this. I will not be coming to this store again. I hope the DM can address this issue. I...

Coffee is good, but expensive. Really like the breakfast sandwiches and muffins. Lunch sandwiches are also very good, but expensive.

Been getting their Pike Place coffee ☕ both decaf and regular for some time now. Pretty close to what you get at the drive thru right at home! Starbucks still has the best coffee ☕ around!

I have to say that Taylor was especially helpful to me today. I came in to have my 2 Pike Place coffees ground and he was very attentive and when I asked for some water while I waited he didn't hesitate and asked if I needed a bag to carry the coffee ☕ home! Great work Taylor! 👍👍

Still having problems with Pike Place decaf being on hand. They said they would place it on the next order to be delivered Sunday but no guarantee it will come in. 😩

Came in for my usual 2 decaf and 1 regular Pike Place coffees and got them ground for drip. The young lady who served me is an art history student from Germany who has been in the states for 3 years. I didn't catch her name but she was very attentive. There can't be too many students from Germany...

I held off on actually reviewing this place properly until it had some time to adjust with the new opening, but this is still a consistent and quality location.

Normally I always mobile order and have never had a problem picking it up in drive-thru or in cafe. I really like that they have two parking spots for mobile orders. A lifesaver on a rainy day!

And FINALLY Starbucks was conscious enough to put in sliding doors that help those with disabilities. (or just those with arms full of drink carriers!) It is encouraging the forethought that must have went into it as the location is right next to Morgan's Wonderland. Plus this place is so open and bright, while still managing to feel cozy, along with being remarkably clean.

As for service, in the drive-thru they have always been super friendly and professional and the few times I have went inside to grab my mobile order, I have always been acknowledged when I thank them verbally or by signing. This location is much closer to me than the Walzem location so it has definitely become my new...
