My order was wrong (3 meals) and I didn’t notice until I got home. (25 miles away). I called and talked to the manager (Toni). He asked for the order #. He asked what was missing? I said I am missing my fries for my orders, my gravy for my 2 chicken strip orders. My 2 apple pies. He said I could come back and pick them up. I said , I live 25 miles away. He said, okay, put my name on the ticket and I will give you a free order when you come in. Just make sure you bring your receipt with you. I said okay, thanks. Today I went in with my receipt with Ton’s name on and reordered everything. The manager that was on duty comped my burger order, but not the whole meal. I asked why. The current manager on duty, (Marnie Kissel), and she said they don’t comp whole orders. I said that is what Toni said. She said, I already comped your burger and gave you your apple pies. I ended up paying for the rest of my meal. She failed to comp me my fries that I didn’t receive last time and also my gravy. She said she gave me my apple pies and French fries and gravy. However, there were fries in my order this time, but I paid for them with my new order, same with the gravy. I didn’t receive extra gravy’s with my two chicken strip order either. I asked for my old receipt, so I could show Toni, she would not give it to me. I said I didn’t need the receipt, I just wanted to take a picture of it and she could have it back. She said NO! Have a nice day and left. ( I was in the second drive through lane). So it cost me $12 worth of gas to go there and still leave without my fries and gravy that I paid for on my first trip. ALWAYS check your order before you leave. Managers at this location will not fulfill another managers promise. Higher management needs to know about...
Read moreUpdate: Two amazing representatives at this Whataburger are Diego and Michelle. Aside from the amazing job they do in drive through, they have awesome attitudes and always make us feel appreciated. My daughter definitely has some special needs and walks all over, stressing us out. The other day, Michelle told me she comes in a lot and they don’t mind her at Whataburger at all. It means a lot to hear compassion for someone with special needs. Thanks to these two for doing a great job! They both deserve recognition for all they do!
My special needs daughter sometimes walks all over town. Today she called me from Whataburger saying she hurt her ankle. It was 103 degrees outside. I met her there, and she wanted to get food so she was helped by a young man named AJ at the counter. He was very helpful to her and seemed to understand that she has struggles and needs extra help with just about everything. I think she called on his phone. Unfortunately, she was not is the best mood, so she was short with him, but he was still very kind, patient, and helpful. I spoke to him later, and told him a little bit about her situation. He was very empathetic, and said he understood. I apologized for her crappy attitude, but he said not to worry about it. I offered him a couple of extra dollars for all he did, but he refused the money and thanked me for being a great dad. The way your employees treat special needs people says a lot about them, and about your corporate ethics. I commend AJ for his maturity, kind heart, and exceptional attitude and wish him all success...
Read moreI pulled up to the drive through, I was the only one there. I waited 5 minutes until someone answered. I said hello several times… I should have took this as a sign to leave, but I didn’t. I ordered a #1 with a Sprite and 4 regular chocolate shakes. The employee taking my order said , you want What? I repeated the order, he said Hold On! That’s all I’ve been since I arrived. Finally he gave me my total and I pulled around. I got to the first window which said “pay here” so I waited no one came to the window so I pulled ahead. I sat in my car at the second window where I saw a bag which I assumed was my #1. I watched the employee bring 2 large milkshakes and set them by my order. After 8 minutes at the window she tells me to pull up to the white line, I did. Never did anyone let me know why. Finally after 10 more minutes of waiting my order was brought to me. I asked her was that my order on the counter, she said yes, I said it’s been sitting there for 30 minutes and it’s going to be cold. She replied do you want me to get you new onion rings? I should have said no and left, but after paying 30 dollars and waiting almost 45 minutes for my my order .. why not! She returned and 5 minutes later my cold burger and hot onion rings were brought to me! This was the WORST SERVICE, FOOD, and SHAKE!! Do not walk….RUN AWAY AND NEVER GO TO THIS WHATABURGER!!! Do...
