6 Grados Coffee — Restaurant in San Diego

This is a great little hidden coffee shop on the outskirts of the community of Paradise Hills. The gentleman who runs the coffee shop is very friendly and welcoming, and his wife is a terrific baker and owner of D Sweets D.

That being said, I had a cortado and oat, raisins, cranberries, and walnut D Sweets D cookie. Both cost $4. The cortado was robust yet smooth and rich. It was well balanced and delicious. The cookie I paired with it was amazing. So much so that I told the owner to make sure he gives his wife a big hug the next time he sees her.

Great little place in a spot you wouldn't normally expect. The inside is very inviting and almost looks like a little living room. There is ample outside patio area that you can sit and get work done. It looks like he specializes in latte's, but I just got the drip coffee because that's what I prefer. The place has wifi and it was quite fast, but be aware that there is no restroom in the place. I would recommend it to sit and chat with friends but if you plan to post up here to do work then just make sure your bladder can handle it. The parking was a little weird as well. Forget the garbage at large chains, starby's sucks & dunk dunkin's. Tucked away in Paradise Hills is this quality, quaint & quirky coffee shop. Food & coffee were 10/10, original & unique. I got the espresso-based CAFe DE LA OLLa (TRADITIONAL BREWED WITH PILONCILLO & Cinnamon) and the Ricotta Blueberry Streusel - incredibly perfect.

Service is amazing & I'm sorry I didn't get their name but midday December 27, 2024 had a super helpful, attentive person behind the counter.
