We had 3 orders of wings (soy garlic, Gangnam, and spicy galbi) and a couple sides of coleslaw. The slaw is great, the pickled daikon solid. The Gangnam wings were pretty good but the soy garlic took the cake (especially when dipped in a little ranch). I can't tell you about the spicy galbi, though, as it's been almost 1.5 hours and it still hasn't come.

Oh yeah, we got here shortly before an enormous group of what seems to be a convention for Korean dads and it took me bugging the staff 3 times and about 1 hour to get any food at all. Meanwhile, we had to watch as this group, which came in after us, got fed dish after dish....

The saving grace is that the head chef/cool (the owner's wife?) came out and apologized to us, comped our meal, and gave us free chili cheese fries which are fun. It was probably just bad luck with the timing and the kitchen staff being new (they've only been open about a week or so). Everyone was really nice and at least tried to be helpful. I'll probably be back or at least order with door dash, especially if the galbi is good. I'll let you know (if it...

Since they opened a bb.q Chicken on Convoy, I fell in love with the Cheesling chicken. When done right, the cheese powder covers the whole chicken and everybite has an amazing burst of cheesey goodness with just the right crips and moist chicken on the inside. They also opened a second one in National City, which did it just right. When I found out they had one in Sorrento just one exit from our place, my wife got excited. Went went, ordered the cheesling, and got sad because it was covered in cheese powder. I was so confused, how could they get it wrong? Even on the menu photos, it's covered with cheese! Someone from the store asked me about it, and she told me that I should ask for more cheese next time, but why would I need to ask for something that's already supposed to be there? I think they either have to look at the menu photos, or learn from the other two bb.q's. For now, I'll make the drive...

I was there today 1/10/2024 at about 7:00pm. I ordered take-out and sat down waiting to eat in the restaurant. The place looks great, atmosphere is great and music was great and I ordered and sat down to eat. The gentleman who took my order at the register brought my food and put it in a to-go package and did not inform me. He served other tables after me, passed by a couple of times and never mentioned that my food was ready. I sat there for an extra 20 mins waiting for my food at my table. I then decided to check the area where they drop to-go orders and my food was sitting there getting cold. I'd hoped that they'll bring the food to my table to eat in there. I just took my food and left. The food was great but I don't know if I'll come back to this location or maybe not around the same time. One of my worst restaurant service...

The location of this korean fried chicken place is in a business area so it is pretty dead on the weekend and there is ample parking. While there was plenty of seating with kpop videos playing in the background, we opted for takeout. They have a variety of different chicken flavors that you can get whole, as wings, or boneless. We tried two different flavors of boneless wings (soy garlic and gang-jeong) and a kimchee fried rice. The boneless chicken pieces were huge, crispy and covered with sauce. We probably should have tried for more variety as both flavors were similar (gang-jeong was a lil spicy). Overall we were impressed with the amount and quality. Would come back again to try other chicken flavors.
