Gualberto's Taco Shop — Restaurant in San Diego

Gualberto’s Taco Shop is one of the hidden gems. Without a doubt authentic superb Mexican Food at it’s best! To be honest never drove down Imperial Ave because I did not have a reason too. Always went to Cotija Taco Shop in Lemon Grove on Broadway. I find a great taco shop become loyal do not eat or try other places. Until one day my uncle had a taste for taco’s and came to his favorite place Gualberto’s asked would I like something off the menu “no” I’m good,so he bought me a mini Tijuana taco- let’s just say damn! This is my new spot Apollo burrito w/ homemade guacamole he’ll yeah BTW... customer...

I used to love this place, The chile verde plate hit. But for $16 I got a carne asada burrito and it was a joke. I wouldn't pay 8 bucks for this.

I remember when the burritos were bigger, much bigger, and double the size. Every time I come in it's consistently smaller.

With the price going up.

So yeah, I wonder what's up. The California burrito is 18 bucks and barely bigger. This looks like a Taco...

Are you kidding me!! I have placed an order for a breakfast burrito 🌯, they forgot to put in the potatoes. "Very expensive!" I took a bite of the burrito & it has a weird taste to it. 😝 8 hours later. I was vomiting the breakfast burrito. 🤮I was food positioning. Never! will I ever come here again! the food here in this gualbertos taco shop is really bad.! I rate this place...
