IHOP — Restaurant in San Diego

Overall this is a great location and they deserve the business 👏 they do an excellent job of keeping the restaurant clean 👍 the service is always friendly with a smile and very polite 😀, the food is consistently well prepared and tastes very good, they have a solid kitchen staff and wait staff. ✋️ The whole combo is difficult to find in craft establishments let alone, the average run of the mill establishments, so this IHOP is a hidden gem. Give them you business if you want a satisfying 😌 meal at a fair price. The poblano eggs benidict was recommended and it was very tasty. I've always liked going to this IHOP. The staff is always good. Had one incident were the waitress forgot to put our order in. After waiting and asking about our food ahead told us she forgot to put our order in. So we told her we were leaving. She didn't seem to care. Had a whatever attitude. Told the manager and she recognized that we were frequent costumers. Tried to make it right. But we had waited to long and we had places to be. The manager or lady running the floor in the morning has always been helpful. If our waiter is busy she always walking around making sure everyone has what they need. This IHOP location is my go to. Today, 03.04.22 We visited this IHOP and the food was good, as always, but compared to our las visit, couple weeks after New Year’s, details to our order was missed. I understand that due to Covid-19, shortages we are facing , but this particular location, always stood-out from the rest thanks to the staff’s attention to details which for some odd reason, today, was missed.
